So just because Barney Frank (D-Mass.) has never said prostitution is a bad thing it makes it okay for him to look the other way while his live-in companion (whose alias is "Hot Bottom") runs a male prostitution ring out of his Georgetown house?
And just because Ted Kennedy (D-Mass.) doesn't rail against drunk driving it makes it okay for him to do it and murder a woman in the process?
And just because Gary Studds (D-Mass) never said it was repugnant for a Congressman to force his male page to have sex with him it is somehow okay?
And these are just the ones I know of from my home state.
The first two are still the posterboys for the Democratic party (Studds - RIP). Why? Because liberals believe if they, or their representatives, aren't openly hypocritical while flagrantly breaking the law, it puts them on some sort of bizarro moral high ground. It certainly gives them a free pass in the media.
Frankly, I'll be surprised if Spitzer resigns. No one can blur reality like a Democrat.
