Good luck with that. You need the ball to create...

Oregon isn't dominating the faceoffs today. They just appear faster. The Ducks attackmen ride very well.

So this Turtle guy is not the second coming of Chuck Norris after all.......Why did I already suspect this?

Of course not. Everyone knew that. Justin Combs was the second coming, Turtle was the third.

Also, whats the deal with the scoring? At one point it was 7-3 at the half, then it went up to 9-3 at the half. Did someone just forget to put some goals in or did they put them under the wrong quarter?

Granted the rankings were UMD 6 and Sonoma 11, but I think everyone was speculating on that UMD #6 ranking and felt it could have easily been flip flopped.

Lets not forget Oregon is #3, so them getting out to a 6-1 lead should be a big surprise either. The response by UMD in the 2nd quarter is going the right direction.

Can't have it both ways. In the first paragraph you're discounting the premise that UMD was supposed to win based on seeding, implying that seeding isn't a valid predictor of the favorite and that UMD (the "underdog") would be justified in being "hungover".

Second para you're insinuating that the Ducks lead is expected because they are the higher seed and thus are supposed to win.

Which is it? Are higher seeds supposed to win or should you throw out the seeds after the initial face off?

You forgot to realize that everyone was putting UMD 7-10 ranking, while no one was questioning the Ducks @3.

10-8 loss, too bad the slow start for the Bulldogs. I am assuming that last goal was while the keep was chasing the ball frantically to try for one last rush? Either way, sounded like a good game. Anyone there?

Yeah, a double on the ball at the top corner of the box, oregon passed it to an open man on GLE, goalie jumped him, and he got by and scored on a relatively open net.

Great run by Duluth, was fun to watch.

Well, i saw a lot of good action yesterday. A lot of good players from all the teams. I was especially impressed with the goalie (Einger??) from CSU, the CSU defense (pulling the shut out), USCB has a couple strong poles, BYU's midfield looks lethal, and 31 from BYU (the long pole) can throw behind the back passes better than most players can throw regularly. I think I've seen one out of him in both of their games. I can't wait for the semi's they're gonna be great! Good luck to all teams.

UMD loses by two! That's close enough. Might as well count it as a win.
