National rankings are not affected one iota by blowout wins over teams that should be dominated.

what is ur definition of domination... anything less than a 15 point diff division a to division b team doesn't look as dominant as say 23-1 ... i think it shows how deep a team is if they can put in say 9 in the second half shooting 14 times, without starters in... i think thats dominance...

and i really dont think that anyone in college should have their feeling hurt by getting scored on... there is such a difference between the teams in the mdia i expect things like this...

Sir,
Clearly you have no knowledge of my team at all and you should reserve your thoughts on us until after you see first hand what we have to offer. We are still early in the season and already our defense has done a solid job although the score boards haven't shown it, so your comments are to be taken with a grain of salt. If you take a look at our stats so far you will clearly see that I'm not the only one that has scored all the points and if it weren't for a solid crew around me, I wouldn't have any. I'd suggest thinking before you speak about my team.....at least until you have some FIRST HAND knowledge. By the way, we're Missouri State now, not SMS. Thanks in advance for correcting that in the future.

Respectfully,

PS. StL and Springfield are close enough that I think I know what cold weather feels like just the same as you do.

just to point out, we only had 10 guys until 5 min left in the game. we were missing abou 6 starters becuase they couldnt get out of classes because of tests that they needed to take. so we were all dead and we got there at like 6 30 after a 5 hour drive and just went and played. and i also did feel like they were trying to run up the score, if i ever played team that didnt even have one sub i would hold the ball a lot more and stop trying score everytime i had the ball

47 shots in the first half, 14 in the second half. How much more do you want a team to hold back? Should they just wheel the ball and not play lacrosse. Should a team feel sorry for another team for not being organized and prepared?

I think the 9 goals on 14 shots is very telling. It seems like they took very smart shots in the second half, and were working an offense rather than just trying to put in goals.

KU 22 Memphis 0

Memphis is a young team and they had 17 guys to start the game. After getting beat the previous night 16-2 by KSU, they didn't have a good weekend. We thank them for coming out to play us.

We talk about running up the score on teams all the time on this thread. No one ever comes up with solid reasons why they should or shouldn't. It's a personal issue for some, while others it's just business.

During this game - much as what Missouri did this weekend - we did hold up more than I wanted my team to. We only had 10 midfielders and 3 attackmen and our only goalie didn't play so I subbed in a 2nd line midfielder at goal. So with only 13 offensive players, 9 scored. If our starting line at midfield was on the field, it was typically on with a 3rd or even normally 4th line midfielder or 2. The 1st line didn't play much in the first quarter, played in the second, and then the entire offense was only allowed to go to cage after a successfully run offensive set or play. If I would have released my team to play how they wanted, it would have easily been 30 or 40 goals. Did we run up the score, no, we simply scored a lot. Could we have not scored so much sure, but what's the point in playing a game where we just have to set up in a circle and pass the ball around for 60 minutes effectively playing catch.

If teams have issues with getting run up like this or Missouri's score, then I would simply suggest for them to hold off scheduling teams that will put up scores like this until they can legitimately take them on, and at the same time, insure yourself of a decent travel squad, and improve your team so it doesn't happen in the future. Any team is capable of high scores, whether it is at Div. A or B so seen by Wheaton over Cornell, or some of Hardings scores last year.

Lindenwood goes 3-0 on the weekend and extends it's home game winning streak to 29; the longest in the country.

A big thanks to all the teams who made the long trip to St. Louis!

Congrats to HARDING on the 2 wins (one being an out of conference win). Harding looks to have a pretty solid team. Really good on both ends of the field. Hopefully, they can make run with it this year.

I don't know if Lindenwood's home winning streak is the longest. At UMD we have never lost a game at home. I am not sure the exact number of games though.
