Ok I am not making an argument for that Files guy from UNT, because well he is not the MVP. He does well for UNT but that is the bottom line. But highaltlax, are trying to usher in an early April fools day with your comment about #1 over at Tech. The only player on that team that deserves the nod is the keeper. Tech has a strong and fairly athletic defense, but stick skills and quickness are not their overall specialties. If it wasn't for the Tech goalie the losses would be even worse. From what I have seen from #1 is that he has no, 'I mean no' left, and that for every 20 cranks he takes maybe one hits the cage, including pipe, not back of the net. I'm I saying that #1 is a bad player? No I'm not, but he does not do the little things like, play great defense. From what Iv'e seen he plays selfish, And as far as lifting Tech up against Wash.U. for one bro lets not mislead anyone into thinking you are talking about the Huskies. Tech played Wash U of St. Louis which is a major difference, because Wash U of St. Louis is well....no one. He perfoms big against scrub teams, and against good teams he is a non-factor. And you can't group A&M in this year because obviously they're not on their best game this year, and that is an understatement.
As for CSU does it matter how many goals you score when your team get beat 21-7. I'm sure CSU was just going through the motions and had the scrubs in, who are probably good enough to play first string for a lot of teams, by the first quarter. As for the games against Lindenwood and Oakland I wouldn't say that was hanging in there. Give the credit were your credit is due with your goalie is the true difference maker on your team, and perhaps in the league. I say your team cause only a homer would tout #1 as your MVP. Give it to the man in between the pipes. He is the only one that saved the losses to the big teams from being worse than they were. I hate to seem that I am lashing out against you our your special #1 but, I come bearing the truth and man the truth hurts. I just can't believe you would short change a keep as good as Techs. I mean come on. No Contest. And the Files arguement is null and void as well. In my opinion, as I have said many times before, the real issue is not the MVP. The MVP does not matter if he, nor his team can stand up to anyone outside of conference with any significance. The winner of the LSA will be the 16th seed and have to play numero uno in the tourney and get whuped. Worry about team, not individuals. Teams win championships, individuals turn into has beens.
