BYU vs UCSB - Wed, 3/23/05 - Scoring UPDATES!

Beautiful weather here in Provo today, 40s with rain/snow. Should make for an interesting game this afternoon.
If you ever fall off the Sears Tower, just go real limp, because maybe you'll look like a dummy and people will try to catch you because, hey, free dummy.

I heard that it rained all day yesterday. I would expect that the field must not be in very good condition. Is there any chance that the game will not be played? Will this affect the broadcast of the game? I hope not.

The field may be wet but the drainage is pretty good. The big question is whether the grounds crew will let them play on it because it will get torn up pretty good. We have a turf field that could be used but that would mean it probably wouldn't be televised. When I know something more I'll let you know.

Just got off the phone with Coach Lamb and it is on for 3pm MST at South Field. It will be televised.

Just about 2 hrs. to game time and the rain has stopped. The cement has mostly dried up and the field should be damp and slippery but not that bad. We are supposed to have more rain as the afternoon goes on. Still cold as well, probably low to mid 40s.

Go Cougars!

I'll keep it running in a window here at work, hopefully I'll be able to read the scores in between actually "doing something."

45 min. to game time. Just had a batch of rain/hail come through but it has stopped for now. That should be off and on through the game. Cougras look ready for a good game today.
