TX games

Loss to SMU was tough. We came out and forgot that we were there to play lax. SMU had a run in the 3rd quarter and scored 7 goals in the first 6 minutes... our defense was in shambles and it took a while for us to get it back together.
We made a good run in the 4th quarter but it was too little, too late. SMU played a good, smart game and we appreciate the work they put into getting this game to happen.

Last night we drove to College Station to take on #18 TX A&M. We went down 4-0 pretty early but slowly battled back to a 7-3 deficit at half. We came out firing in the 3rd quarter and whittled down the lead even more, having it to 11-9 at one point. After we lost the ensuing faceoff all the momentum swung and A&M pumped a goal or two in. We kept battling hard but they put in a few goals late in the game when we were pressuring out to get the ball back. Good game by both teams, and thanks to A&M for scheduling this game with only a day's warning.

We play UT at 7 pm tonight. We'll do our best to bring back at least one big win for the UMLL from this trip.
