Lacrosse in Greece?

Postby Tim Gray on Fri Mar 21, 2008 9:23 am

Anybody know if there are any lacrosse teams in Greece? I have a player who will be abroad next fall, and I'd like him ot keep the rust off before coming back to NU in the Spring.

Thanks
Tim

He'll keep in shape chasing the lovely ladies. This will probably be counterbalanced though by coupius consumption of Uzo.

Not true my friend...I was just there last summer and the ladies do not look very good at all. Maybe you just saw the Swedish girls there on their break. Zeuslax, if your player is there in the summer, then all he has to do is walk around during the day and he will stay in shape seeing it is so damn hot there

I think you might have been in Albania and thought you were in Greece. Or you had the worst luck that any man visiting has had.

I'm pretty sure he'll be in Thesalonki. Any contacts or places to search for contacts?

It's been a few years for me. I'll see what I can dig up. The Naval yards in both cities carry a lot of Americans with the 6th fleet.

For those looking for lacrosse in Greece this summer. I've been told that this is the best guy to contact for current happenings still. He use to have a website called Lacrosse in Greece (not Greece, NY) if I remember correctly.

I also heard the Italian national team contacts may be able to help.
