Are there any updates as to when the final language of the new rules will be set? It would be great to know as soon as possible so that we can start to ask questions online and coach up our guys as soon as possible, as well as get some interpretations and input from the refs on here about how they would handle different situations. Plus it will just be fun to argue about how good/bad the wording is.
The true test of a player's character is not how he wins, but how he loses.

I expect the .pdf to be posted any day now. I think it was posted late November/early December last year.

New question regarding the new faceoff rule. Part of the rule states "the offending team's faceoff player must leave the field and a substitute must replace him"
What if the offending team has no substitute? Rules say you need only 10 to start a game and can play with less after it has started. I am sure this will be encountered somewhere this spring.

Maybe make him tag up on the sideline. The other team still gets their fast break, plus the offending face-off mid will be tired from sprinting to the sideline then back to defense.
