Uniforms
Speaking of uniforms... I just had some refs inform me that next year or the year after, it will be outlawed to have uniforms whose shoulders do not match the body. That's gonna hurt some teams and some companies whose designs are based on the multi-color look.... clearly though, that won't be an issue for Indiana

Nothing in the current rulebook states anything about the shoulder colors. And I don't think the NCAA rules committee has proposed anything new in the department.

I haven't heard anything about that either, and I speak to the heads of the MDIA and the COC with some regularity. I'll ask, but I doubt it's true. Personally wouldn't mind that rule though, just from aesthetic standpoint.

If this does happen, I'd recommend a few years transition time. I know that we at MSU don't buy jerseys every year because we simply can't afford to. If a team has to replace all their jerseys the year after they get new ones it may put a major financial strain on them.
I also doubt this will happen.

or it could it be one of those things that we choose to have a 2 year transition for MDIA standards?
