The TWC/Furman game was canceled due to weather. Too bad, it was a big game. It will surely be made up soon.

Elon played a five man zone and locked him off. The pole they put on him was pretty good, but he'd have still had a few assists if our crease attackman had pulled in a few passes.
I don't think his absence on the stat sheet was Ganzert not playing well, I'd say it was a combo of their choice to run a defense built to stop him and his acceptance that it just wasn't a day where he was gonna dodge to the cage for 4 goals.
If we kept stats like hockey he'd have been the second assist on about 3 or 4 of our goals.

I maybe wrong... but does this mean the Davidson UNC-Char game coming up is basically going to decide the second team to make the playoffs from the North? Should be a big game either way...

I just looked up the schedules and looks like Elon play Davidson first so that game will help determine the playoffs too... some real big games coming up for the North!

Elon went down to Davidson on Saturday. Leading by 3 goals and with 6 minutes remaining, the game was called due to lightening. Not sure whats going to happen. Elon has locked up a trip to Atlanta, but that win would secure them a 1 or 2 seed.

If Emory beats KSU, TWC and Furman...would they lock the #1 seed since they beat Elon? How is the tie-breaker determined? Is it goals against? And if so, is it goals against within the selc-2 or entire mcla or any team?
From my understanding (of what's happened with games in that situation this season)...that will count as a win for Elon. That's my guess though.

I don't think a win would secure a 1 or 2 need. If seeding is like Div. I (which i am not an expert on) it goes by SELC II record and first tie breaker is head to head results (even if it is divisional games rather than all SELC, it plays out the same). Elon has lost to Emory. Emory and SCAD are undefeated in SELC II play. Elon would be 3, if they beat Davidson, but this is all if this and if that’s. Emory still has 3 Divisional games to play, two of which are road games, Elon still plays Davidson, and SCAD still has two SELC II games to play. If you want to look at it more, Costal-C still has to play Eckerd (win will most likely take 2 seed in the south). Say CC wins. Well then Elon and CC both have one lose in SELC II play. Then it goes to another tie breaker (nation record, points allowed, I have no idea). Now Elon may be looking at a 4 seed. There is still a lot of lacrosse to be played before we talk about seeding.
