Just to clear up any more arguments over this, here is the scoring breakdown for Ithaca. You will see only two points were registered by freshmen players, none by sophomores, 5 by juniors, and 16 points by seniors.

#9 Nelligan - senior 6-0
#1 Bobzian - senior 0-3
#4 Lepiane - senior 4-2
#5 Bush - senior 1-0
#15 Cutter - Junior 1-0
#20 Giunta - Junior 1-0
# 3 Sillipo -Freshman 1-0
#33 Siefert - Junior 1-0
#30 Hennessy - Freshman 1-0
Shots Chapman 51- Ithaca 54
Faceoffs Chapman 20-Ithaca 18
Hopefully that ends the discussions over the validity of this game. It was great having those guys out to play us, and I hope that more varsity teams will be willing to play us in the future. We end our regular season with Whittier, who we lost to by one goal last year, and beat in the fall 10-5. Should be another great game.
Ithaca College 18, Chapman 16 FINAL

Baby steps, Trev.
The lakeridge boys had 8 goals for us in that game. Not too shabby.

Speaking of "paranoia", the Lapower guys have deleted a number of posts related to this game. Yesterday, somone was posting in-game scores and those disappeared from the Ithaca v. Whiitier thread that they were in.
Today, there was a thread that posted a copy of the Chapman's coach post in a labeled "Ithaca v. Chapman" and within an hour that whole thread was deleted.

You have got to be kidding me! If LaxPower is censoring its Boards because of reasons other than profanity, they should be shut down. I don't mean the Boards, I mean LaxPower. I hope someone reminds LaxPower that they exist because of the First Amendment. This is the good ol U. S. of A, not the Peoples Republic of China. It is my impression that the East Coast Lacrosse (LaxPower) establishment is affraid of the truth. Chapmans roster is loaded with DI DII and DIII recruits that chose to go to or stay in sunny So Cal. Gee can't imagine why those kids would want to play in California in March (74 and beautiful at game time)

One thing I did learn on Laxpower was that Lindsay Lohan apparently was at the game. She allegedly has a brother on the Ithaca team. The poster indicated that she wasn't even paying attention to the game....she was texting someone the entire time.
Now there's quality information that wasn't deleted.

I have a high school friend who FOGO's at Ithaca. He tells me that they entered the game expecting to easily win, and were quite surprised by what Chapman put together early on. From that point, they proceeded with a "serious, must win" mentality. Wonder what the LaxPower posters would think about that...

relax buddy, remember that laxpower is private and therefore and do what every they want. Edit ,delete, add, etc... all can be done and they dont need to be shut down. All that matters is that ithaca players know that the MCLA is legit and is all that counts... their fans will find out one day.

GV: LaxPower is Private indeed. So is this website. Censorship is censorship, private or public. Long live Lindsay Lohan

For the record, I never said Oregon would beat them easily. I was just passing messages along and that somehow got added. Kind of like one of those bad games of telephone when you were a kid.

I know I am coming into this discussion late but is there a breakdown of MCLA v. D3 teams throughout the season?
I was surprised to see that Ithaca played Chapman. My brother plays in the E8 and I follow the top North D3 teams very closely, but did not hear any mention of the game on the team or league's website. After Ithaca's victory over Cortland, the close game is even larger testament to the strength of MCLA teams and their ability to compete with top D3 programs.
That being said, BYU did lose to a Whittier team that is ranked #36 in the power ratings. It was a close game, but Whittier hasn't been anything better than average for the past couple of years.
