PNCLL Week #4 (2/20-2/26) -- Predict/Report Scores/Discuss

Postby Hi-Line Lax on Sat Feb 23, 2008 9:11 pm

i have to go through the film from today, but I'm pretty sure we gave up 7 EMO goals... out of 9 total I'd say that it was a factor.

I think the rise in scoring mostly has to do with a rise in talent overall in this league, a little bit of technology, and probably a bit of the coaching/emphasis in some programs.

Nice win Whitman. The PLU - Whitman series has always meant a lot to the players on both teams.
Looks like UPS had an impressive win in Boise today...should be a great game tomorrow in Walla Walla between the 2 teams in what is beginning to be a great rivalry.

i agree with jason that i am also glad i missed this game, although i still have one up on my brother, he is a senior this year and this is the first loss he has endured in this rivalry, however i would much rather have this loss in my resume than my loss, dating back to our playoff game you guys beat us in in OVERTIME!!! I will never forget that game, nor will any other plu-whitman player.

now that montana is in the A division i would have to say this is still one of the stronger rivalries in pncll div 2.

Snowing pretty steadily here in Spokane, where we take on the Zags in a couple hours. Turned out to be a nice day yesterday in Boise and the sun even made an appearance. Glad we are on FieldTurf today, the "grass" we played on yesterday was so long and soggy it was like running on a soft, lumpy mattress...

PLU 13 - C of I 11. We eyed a comeback in the 4th but it didn't come about. I thought we had two goals that didn't get called but what are ya to do.

Thanks.

If you have issues with the officiating, put it in your referee review at thearbiter.net. . .or contact Keith MacFie directly and he will utilize the information you provide for him.
