WOW...redbull all around. That completely changes on how to prepare for games. How do some of these teams plan on adapting to the off times?

Looks like another big weekend for the UMLL, good luck to all the teams competing in the OOC games as well.
I also would like to know how the teams are planning to be awake at that time. Is there anyway we can get Starbucks or Caribou to sponsor the UMLL?

FYI, St Cloud made some good T-Shirts commemorating these two weekends of overnight play. Contact AlexK or JoeG to get yours.

Whats the deal with the weird times? Was this the only time you could schedule the games in?
Should be interesting. Hope you can get some fans out there.

I'm not sure how other teams are dealing with it but the Gopher squad will be bringing our pillows and blankets for a little slumber party...lax style. The midnight game times and the 6AM game times are not too bad...its the teams that play at 2:00AM or 4:00AM that have the real challenge. The teams that came to town last weekend were pretty good sports about it and I think the teams coming to town this weekend will be the same. Lax is lax...it doesn't matter when its played.
Also - congrats to David Hildebrand from UST for getting Player of the Week honors. Another excellent example of how the UMLL is gaining credibility across the nation. Great road trip Tommies.
Good luck to everyone this weekend.

Speaking for EMU which did this schedule last weekend, it was brutal. The first two games are fine. But the last game is just hard to get up for. But lax is lax and everyone is at the same disadvantage.
For us, the hardest part of the weekend was the 12 hour drive back home in a blizzard. It's a tough weekend.
Good luck to everyone.

I would also like to extend the congrats to Hildie for getting MCLA Player of the Week. I had the distinct pleasure of playing next to him for three years at UST, and he deserves this honor.
Good luck to all UMLL teams this weekend.

From the GRLC boards:
Sounds like it was a heartbreaker. Good luck against K-State tomorrow Oles, go bring home a win for the UMLL!
Final from Lincoln:
Nebraska 13
St Olaf 12
Hard fought game by both teams, St olaf really capitalized on their man up opportunities scoring on 8 of them.

By the way, can we get a few details on these shirts Katkov and St. Cloud "dreamt up"? Are they actually t-shirts or just pillow covers?

NDSU v. Bethel
Congrats to the Bison of NDSU for a heart-stopping 12-11 overtime win over Bethel University. Congrats also to Bethel for a never-say-die effort in their first league game of the year. Both squads were explosive and very impressive.
For the record, the Augsburg Dome has nothing on Stillwater for the gold medal in chill factor. By the time the game was in the 4th you could, literally, see people's breath in there. Must have turned on the AC for the Kansas Jayhawks, who were there to play Mankato.
That's right. You're not in Kansas anymore.
