At this time i do not see that much that has happened to affect the top 25 all that much. I know some good teams are playing this weekend so this might all change.

curious as to how the voters will react to teams who are idle before the next poll, or teams that have lost to top 5 teams.

I think that this weekend is obviously the biggest weekend for the pollsters to pay attention to so far from this season (thus my write up :D) and really think things have an opportunity to be shaken up. We have #2 St. John's against #6 Utah Valley State, along with #3 St. Thomas going up against #5 Emory. These two games have the potential to show how stacked the top 5 might be. Plus we also have a chance to see some mid-poll teams playing some of the higher ranked teams, which should show how competitive the entire top 25 could be this year. Overall it should be a pretty exciting weekend for the D-II, especially with that poll coming out on Wednesday. anyone with knowledge of some teams have predictions for some of the games featuring two top 25 teams this weekend. I personally don't know much of anything about most of the teams playing this weekend so I will refrain from throwing out useless predictions, but it would be nice to hear some from people who are more in the know.

I dont see much movement in this up coming poll. Most teams have won their first few games and now seem to be waiting out the weather for the vast majority of the games. Too many top 25 teams only have 1 or 2 games or even none before this next poll comes out.

I wouldn't be surprised to see some movement in the Top 5 (as mentioned above) and I'm curious about the UNC-Charlotte/St. Thomas game to see how strong the middle of the pack are. The WOU/WWU match up in the PNCLL will be a good conference indicator and the Irvine event should be interesting this year with the RMLC stacking up against St. John's and the WCLL trying to re-enter the top tier after their conference seemed to take some hard hits last year.

For one weekend, there could actually be a lot of movement in Div 2... good luck to everybody this weekend.

Emory has played 5 games already? That's a huge advantage for them on a critical weekend in Div B. St. John's and UVSC could be a very good game to. I'm interested to hear the story on NAU. They were on my map last year and are there again this year. I'll try and get something up about the UST vs Emory and UST vs. UNC-C games after I have spoken to the coaches.

St. Thomas 4
Emory 3

according to MCLA.us

This seems about right for the 3rd vs 5th place team. no movement in the poll there i think. Still have many more ranked teams playing this weekend.

Emory was winning most of the game....but over 8 minutes of penalties for Emory kind of hurt things...a little.

Good thing for UST that they were ahead at the end of the game. That's all that matters.

The UST coaches I spoke to said Emory's D is legit. After seeing that score, I believe it.
