I will be at the WOU vs. WWU game on Saturday. . .a matchup of two of the top D2 teams in the country. If anyone thinks they will be in front of their computer Saturday and wants to post a live game action report, I'd be willing to call in updates. . .just shoot me an email at jstock6@aol.com and we can set it up.

I think the importance of the WWU v. WOU game cannot be understated, it will really set up the race for D2 for the whole season. WWU has the advantage of already seeing a good team and being at home, but WOU is nasty with the athleticism on offense and talent on defense. Very curious to see how this plays out, if I were a betting man I'd say it's even money.

The OOC D1 games are huge this w/e also. Oregon St. needs a win and they start w/ a USC team that just played UCSB to a 2 goal game. They then have to play a UCLA team that will be hungry for their first win of the season. Stanford next for 3 games in three days. Good luck Beavers and bring home some W's.
Washington playing Cal and USC should also provide some insight into the competitiveness of U Dub this year. Best of luck to Dan and the team.
Obviously WWU vs WOU is the D2 game that everyone is watching but I think the WOU vs CWU game could prove just how wide open our D2 may be this year. WOU beat CWU last year by 2 goals and with their big game on Sat. vs. WWU, CWU could be well poised for an upset. I know WOU won't overlook CWU but I believe it will be a close one.
Best of luck to all PNCLL teams this weekend and thanks to PLU for coming down to Ashland to help us host Nevada.

Apparently there's not much interest in the PNCLL this week, considering the absence of postings in this thread since Tuesday, anyway.
C'mon folks... where's all the predictions and pre-game chatter!?!?
Lots of important conference games in DII, a good conference game between the Zags and Broncos, Beavers and Huskies down in LaLA Land, UNR in Ashland for two OOC games.... there's got to be something to talk about, isn't there? Even an update on the weather for the games on the Eastern side of our conference would be welcomed.

According to their homepage they are off until March:

So I guess Jason and I can take the next few weeks off without the need to prepare and write a preview article!

I think Mark pretty much hit it on the head for this week. The Div 1 OOC's will be important, kinda, as I wouldn't be surprised to see the WCLL sweep those games. The Zags/Broncos game could be important, but I don't think it will be so much of a factor this year (good win for either team though). I think WWU will win both this weekend, CWU could upset and could also be upset by Willamette (but probably neither will happen), the PLU games are not very meaningful, and the game of the weekend may very well be the Whitman/C of I game... which I'll take Whitman in a close one.
I could care less who's huckin' disc this week.

It would be nice to see the non- Oregon and SFU PNCLL teams come out ahead over the WCLL just to prove our conference has depth. The Broncos/Zags game should be interesting. The Zags are looking to make a playoff run this year and the Broncos are coming off a playoff year. I will be at the game if anyone wants a report.
It's great to see Portland State keep showing up on the spring schedule. We were bummed that we couldn't work them into our schedule.
Good luck to the PNCLL teams this weekend!

Do they look anything like Dan's sunglasses? If you were really good at editing photos, you could make that one happen. . .
