WCLL week 4, Post scores, comments, discussions here

curious as to the opinions about texas a&m and their upcoming weekend. i don't know much about their team other than their current record and scores: win against SMU 20-8, win against north texas 16-12, win against texas tech 23-9. i feel safe saying that each of the three teams they face this weekend will be better than the ones they have already played; in addition i think santa clara is better than davis and sonoma is better than santa clara. granted a&m have two landslide wins so far, but what are the realistic expectations for this weekend. anyone who has seen a&m or the three teams they face?

I have not seen A&M play but judging from the scores and the way they have played in the past looks like a lot of run and gun with sub par defense. I would imagine most of the games in cali will be slowed down to try and take them out of their game. If they do become run and gun we could see some interesting scores.

As much as I want to predict hat the WCLL will dominate these interconference matchups I have a feeling both BYU and Texas A&M will be leaving Cali with a W.

Picking Cal-Poly to win both games at Arizona and at ASU is certainly a bold prediction, and will really shake up the polls if you are right!

He only picked Cal Poly over Arizona. Washington has a tough task this weekend. Both Cal and USC have improved a lot since last year.

Oops, you are right, I read it wrong. Obviously I needed a little more coffee here this morning.

We are well aware how good our competition will be at the Pac-10 shootout. We have never played the Trojans. I'm sure Coach Dini and the Golden Bears seniors remember our last meeting at Chico in 2005, and will have some extra motivation to beat us this time. But the Huskies are really looking forward to our games and hopefully some warmer weather than we have had here in the Northwest.

Well, we were close, UCSB only won by -6 (BYU 15, UCSB 9 final) ... turns out to have been a pretty good projection, Beast! I was honestly glad to see that SB looks talented again this year, able to play quick and crisp (and having some BIG guys), it's nice to see good things continuing to happen in the WCLL, MCLA lax is growing and a positive force.
