Chapman 11
SFU 10
That is an interesting score, the way SFU has been playing lately, I'm surprised it was even that close. SFU is a good squad in general it seems, but nowadays it seems like they have some issues they need to work out.

Washington 17
Oregon State 14
The Huskies win a huge conference game against a very talented Beavers team. Maybe nobody outside the PNCLL knows how good OSU is, but we sure do and this game featured two very evenly-matched teams. We're thankful to have played well and escaped with a "W".
Thanks to Chapman, Rhode Island, Simon Fraser, Oregon State, Mercer Island H.S. and Oregon Episcopal School for coming to Seattle to make the 2nd Annual Husky Indoor Tournament such a great success. We featured some amazing games and lacrosse this week.
The complete results of the Husky Indoor Tournament:
Washington 14 ... Rhode Island 9

Oregon State 12 ... Rhode Island 6
Mercer Island HS 11 ... Oregon Episcopal School 8

Like many teams, the Clansmen have suffered a myriad of injuries. SFU has been playing without three of their top players: Justin Norbraten on Attack, Kelly Gares at Midfield and Nate Hoskins on Defense. Fraser's young guys like Ben Came, Anthony McGovern, Richard Singer and Patrick Corrigan have stepped up to play major minutes and have performed pretty well, but SFU will be a much better team if and when the injured guys return to the lineup.

Boise St. 10 (OT)
Linfield 9
Rumor has it Boise was up 8-3 at the half, and essentially fell asleep in the second. Also sounds as though it could have been a questionable goal scored in OT....

From what I heard... Someone jumped to shoot over the goalie to get the shot off, and landed in the crease.... But I guess if the refs didn't call it, it must have been good
Any word on why you didn't have the normal attack the day before? Did they get matching gear yet?

linfield vs bsu
Looked from the stands that BSU's #45 could have jumped and landed in the crease to make it a questionable goal.

Albertson vs. Central
Albertson 2 Central 6
Yotes only down 2-3 in the third quarter...Central gets a goal with about 3 seconds left in the third...and notches two more to get the job done in the fourth. Close game...closest Albertson has ever been in. Snowed the entire first half, rained the entire second.
I think if the Yotes could get someone to step up and score some goals, they would have a chance at winning some games. The defense seems to be keeping them involved.

Wow, congrats to the Ducks. With the PNCLL's inconsistency this year (UPS might fit into that category, mabye!), I didn't really know what to expect. Congrats to the Ducks! Very good to hear.

To answer both of these questions...The goal in overtime could be seen as questionable...from the stands or anywhere. He did in fact score outside of the crease and thats how it went. To answer if it was played in Boise and other such news on the trip, here it goes. The game was played in Boise. There were a lot of penalties and many bad calls. Thats what we have to deal with in Idaho every home game...No home field advantage to us.
To answer the question about people not being to the game vs. Gonzaga...well yeah most of our team wasnt there. We did not have one of our attackmen and basically we only had about two lines or less of middies. It was pretty horrible...I give credit to the Zags, but if we had our whole team...it might have been a different story, ya never know.
Anyways, I just want to thank the PNCLL for coming all the way to Boise to play. From all the games we have played against the PNCLL, it has been wonderful...thanks.

UVSC 8, Linfield 3. Linfield came out to play. UVSC had their worst offensive performance of the year, and as always, their Defense played stellar, including shutting down a 3-man down penalty. Hats off to Linfield defense- Linfield has a good goalie and #17 on defense is an excellent player. He single handedly cleared the ball over 10 times and slid perfectly on iso plays. Great bunch of guys, wish em the best in the PNCLL the rest of the year. Thanks for coming down to Utah Valley fellas.

Anyone hear anything about the Linfield-Utah game??? Intersted to see how they faired against a top five team. If somebody hears something post it asap. Thanks!
The true test of a player's character is not how he wins, but how he loses.
