Well, there are ten games listed above so I doubt anyone has any clue what game you are referring to LOL

In my opinion, there are four big games that will tell us a lot about things to come this season.

Cal Poly v Chico - They have been powerful programs in the past, but will that carry into this year?

Cal v UCSB - This tends to be a close game every year. Cal has already played a game. For the Gauchos, it will be their first game of the year. It always seems like a home game for UCSB when they play at Cal.

Chapman v UCLA - First game and first divisional game for these two. Could be the only chance UCLA has at making it to playoffs. I remember UCLA upset Chapman 2 or 3 years ago.

SDSU v Chico - Time to test out some new coaches at SDSU.

Any reason Chapman and UCLA are playing so early in the year with so much at stake? It's not like they are TOO far away from each other. Wouldn't it make more sense to play this game in April?

It is hard to pass up on the inexperience of player reps when scheduling games at the league meeting, you are probably right on Alex, but I think it will play out alright in the end.

ASU, UofA and NAU are all playing in some sort of scrimmage this weekend as well.

I don't think that ASU and UofA will be playing each other, just each team against NAU.

SB at Cal will be a good game to watch. I think most people expect SB to win this one handily, but there is something about Cal's field that gives it a "prison" feel. That field gives them a several goal advantage every game. theres nothing like seeing the Gaucho fans outnumber the Bear fans on their home field. I'll be at the game posting updates.

Cal Poly vs Chico State game time change

Postby Aaron Myers on Thu Jan 31, 2008 12:58 am

Due to inclement weather the Cal Poly-Chico game has been moved to Righetti High School in Santa Maria Thurday January 31st at 7pm in the football stadium. From 101 exit Santa Maria Way and go west. Left on Bradley, then Right on Larch. Park near the steps and follow up to the stadium. It is located behind the baseball stadium.

A little reminiscing about the birth of Cal Poly and Chico State's "Battle for the Boot" rivalry:

yes there will be scrimmages (best of the west style) games this weekend involving UofA, asu, nau and GCU(grand canyon). U of A and ASU will not be playing each other. UofA is playing nau and GCU, not sure about asu's schedule.

biola - 8
lmu - 16

biola got out to an early 2-1 lead but weren't helped by two 3-min stick penalties. we made a rally in the fourth to cut into the lead a little.
