I see the Fort winning big, maybe 17-2, and the Lobos eaking one out, 7-6. On a side note, I once read that lacrosse was outlawed in Oklahoma, as it was deemed a game of war back in the day...

I think it's still on the books as such. Weren't the biggest fans of the natives back in the day.

Thanks for the confidence Big Head Todd. We have been silent these days in Albuquerque. It has been a big challenge to organize a program where Lacrosse really does not exist, but we are changing that with the development of several High School programs in the Albuquerque area. I can honestly say we are ready for this weekend and will be much more competitive then we have ever been. We respect OU and I believe it will be a knock down drag out fight of a game with two up and coming D1 programs.
As for the Ft. Lewis game. Look for Robinette and company to run the Sooners in the ground. The Fort has a great program and look for them to go to Nationals again this year. We should have some big crowds on hand from the new New Mexico Lacrosse community to cheer on the Fort and UNM. It will be a great weekend for the RMLC.

I just want to thank the RMLC and New Mexico for one great weekend. We could not have asked for better hosts with hospitality unparalleled to anything the University of Oklahoma has ever seen. Beautiful weather and great scenery gave way to a good weekend on the road for us. We Had the UNM Lacrosse Alumni provide gatorade and water for us on our trip home which was greatly appreciated. We would love to host ya'll again and be able to show the same sportsmanship back. Coach Westfall has a great organization out in Albuquerque that is one of the classiest in the MCLA. Thanks again Lobos!

Thanks Alex,
Well Bighead Todd I guess we let you down, I apologize. Oklahoma also is a class act program. It was a great game back and forth by 1 goal but in the 4th quarter OU broke it open a bit. We have a long way to go but we improve with each game. The thing I remind my guys is this was a D1 program from the LSA conference. It wont be long when we step up into D1 action in the RMLC.
Final from Albuquerque:
Oklahoma 13 New Mexico 10
