Thanks for the props on the LU guys. As far as our main face-off guy, we use 3-6 different guys depending on the situation.
You do have a good goalie. He stood tall often in our game. I believe you have him for a while yet, right?
Another impact player that I don't believe has been named is Andrew Kohl from Illinois. He's a big middie that shoots well with both hands. Another player from Illinois that I would put on my All-Conference ballot right now is defenseman Justin Hooper. He's big, fast, and makes things happen.

off topic but i was wondering...........
ole miss is wants to join the uslia next year
would they join grlc or the selc?
they are in oxford, ms which is 45 min from memphis
just curious cause it would be a long trip if they were in the selc where they would be 6 hrs from athens, and 13-14 hrs from greenville, nc [ECU]
or if they would fall maybe into the LSA
what do yall think about this? or are they just far from everyone

Ole Miss joined GRLC two years ago but once the season was about to begin, they folded. Knowing Kyle, I am sure they will take a hard look at them to see if they want to accept them again after they "burned" GRLC two years ago.

If I remember right, Ole Miss still owes the GRLC their dues for that year. Since they have not paid Ole Miss is still a part of the GRLC and may not join another conference until their dept with the GRLC is taken care of. Too bad Kyle doesn't post anymore but I'm sure Troy or Daren can answer this better.

Ole Miss would definitely have to "pony up" for their past problems before being allowed to join any USLIA Conference. In order for this to happen, they'll need to open discussions with the GRLC BOD before going forward.
I'll be happy to entertain any inquiries from their current leadership regarding their financial obligation to the GRLC.

At this point in the year, I have seen every team in my subdivision. Here is a short list of players who deserve some recognition for what they are doing.

Callahan-Nebraska-goalie
Fabrera-Creighton-goalie

Mike, I agree with the majority of your list and all those guys should get some recognition at one of the levels of all conference. The guys from your list who should make the top team are Snow, Hoogendoorn and Kurtz for sure. The rest will probably be scattered throughout the lower teams.
Anyone got a list of top players from the Chicago area teams?

Although we have already heard from the NW subdivision, I will put my two cents in too.
Dordt- Attack: Paul Hoogendoorn
Midfield: Kris Walhof, Kris Klein
Face-off Specialist: Brad Kuiper
Defense: Ross Vanderbill
Nebraska- Goalie: Callahan
Creighton- Attack: Snow and #9
Defense: Metcalfe
Midfield: #10 wasnt bad
USD- Havent played them yet, but #15 and #27 are good on attack.
Honorable Mention: NW's Brunner puts up most of their goals and assists
and can really play. Their goalie Crabtree isnt bad despite some
big numbers put up against him. Tony Rodriguez of NW on attack
isnt bad, hopefully he can get over his injury though.
USDs Kurtz is their best defender and hes got some pretty good
stick skills

i've actually either scored all our goals or had the assist on goals scored by other players. rodriguez is hoping to be back early to mid-next week. hopefully in time for our second game against USD to take some of the pressure off of me. we have a couple other minor injuries as well, keeping us from being fully effective on the offensive end. all of our attack are pretty banged up. hopefully we'll get healed up in time for our game against Dordt on monday. gotta keep up the friendly rivalry.

Brunner - Putting 3g 1a up on Creighton and 2g 3a on Dordt isn't shabby at all.
I do feel your pain about being injured. Harding has yet to have a full strength team this year. We have been missing at least 1 player and normally 2 or 3 due to injury this entire year. We won't have a full team available until crossover. Might be fun to see what we can do when we're all healthy.
