2008 Minnesota Boys Officials Training Dates Announced

Postby LaxRef on Sat Jan 12, 2008 3:03 pm

The dates for officials training have been announced. If you're reading this forum, there's a good chance you know about lacrosse to quickly become a competent official, and, as you may know it can be quite lucrative.

I can't figure out how to post a file here (maybe I'm not supposed to be able to). If you're interested in details, PM me with your e-mail address and I'll send you the .pdf with all of the information you need.

We especially need officials in the St. Cloud and Mankato areas, but you'll get plenty of work if you're in the cities or Rochester, too. (We can even get you games in Duluth, although you'll get more if you're willing to travel.)

I don't know how I forgot to list this, but the UMLOA Annual General Meeting will be held on Saturday, January 26, from 9:00 to 1:00 at Kaplan. This includes the COC clinic and video for anyone not attending the US Lacrosse Convention and COC meeting there.

Everyone should have received notification of this meeting by e-mail, but I thought I'd at least post a reminder.

Also, new officials training starts next week; be sure to pre-register if you intend to take the course. See above for the sheet with full directions on becoming a trained official.
