jessexy wrote:Its so lame. event the names are lame. Mayhem, Militia, Wolf? they all confuse me and suck. they re-used Siren cuz i remember that being the deaf girl from the 1st show. Wolf looks way too metro with his perfectly manicured beard and eye makeup and Titan looks like he's had more plastic surgery than any of the female gladiators. They actually give Hellga's measurements on the website as 6'1", 205 lbs.

I liked Zap, Blaze, Turbo, Sabre, Gemini. those were original and cool (i was 13 or so), but this thing is scripted and awful. the contenders have memorized lines to say after they've been bashed in the head and drop in water.

the girls are kinda hot, but that doesnt make up for it. i actually turned the channel to watch the I Love New York Reunion show and Dance Wars, but that was worse. and I think this is gonna run on Mondays against Prison Break and 24 (eventually)

You forgot the best gladiator of all, Malibu! :D

I'm surprised nobody has posted anything about the new Knight Rider commercials shown during AG...Looks like there's no Hoff or Mr. Feeny.

And yes, I did used to talk to my watch like I was calling Kit trying to emulate Michael.

Could 24 Be Delayed Until 2009 Due To Strike?
by Diana on November 7th, 2007

IGN thinks that if the writers’ strike lasts longer than one month, 24 won’t make it to the air at all:

Fans won’t be happy about this. The promotional push for Season 7 had already begun, but given the situation, the show might not debut at all this TV season. Because of the heavily serialized nature of the series and the specific 24 hours over 24 episodes format, FOX and the producers are debating whether it’s worth airing only the first few episodes of the season, only to have the storyline be cut off for an unknown amount of time. Sources IGN spoke to have heard that the show has enough scripts completed to only get them through around episode 10 of the season. Beyond that, if production can’t resume within a month, it’s almost certain to ensure that the show won’t be able to complete 24 episodes this season and thus won’t be airing at all. Presumably the completed episodes would be held for whenever production does resume and air together during the 2008 - 2009 TV season.

While I personally think that IGN is jumping the gun, if the strike were still on in January, then I’d worry.

We're putting a video/application together for my strength and conditioning coach. It's the only thing I can do to get him to stop tackling me. I had it set to DVR and my wife unplugged everything before we went out of town (her signature move). I still watch the replays on ESPN Classic and don't think any level of chesseyness will pull me away.

I think the Hoff is supposed to do Knight Rider again? He's listed as "in negotiations" on an unofficial site and they were talking about him doing it on some Hollywood news show the other day while replaying his drunk sandwich video.

I think so long as you DVR the new AG instead of watching in real time it's awesome. That way you can skip through at least one or two of the repeated introductions and wolf howls.

Wolf and Crush were on the Today show this morning and it sounds like NBC picked up the show and extended it for another season.

It seems like the contestants trash talk a lot more in this one but the trash talking seems scripted.

I also like the old buckets compared to the new helmets they are using.
