Hillary Weeps
Hillary: It's hard campaigning for President.
Hello!!!
It's even harder being President.
I think this was a stupid little act, on her part. If any of the other candidates were to choose, they could capitalize on this.
This is different than other Presidents (or candidates) weeping at appropriate times (funerals or memorials, for example).
She doesn't seem to be getting very good advice, these days.

I don't see a tactful way in which they can attack her. I see all attacks about this coming across as not compassionate and sexist. I AM NOT SAYING IT IS sexist, just the American public will construe it that way.

Is that such a bad thing??? I mean who really wants her in office??

Has she done anything in the past 10 years that was not politically motivated? She's going to play every card she's got, included pulling at the heart strings of the voters..."Woe is me, all these meanies are making it so hard on me". Hopefully the voters continue to dismiss her and she can go back to working hard to represent the fine people of New York...or whatever it is she does while not campaigning.
Reminds me of the South Park "Vote or Die" episode with the campaign between the turd sandwich and douche bag.
without BO about 54% of the American public and about 58% of the voting public.

Right, not arguing she doesn't have support, just making a joke.

Well duh! What business is she in?? And she differs from every other in politician in what regard? The nature of the beast.
I only heard her comments on the radio, but she sounded sincere, which is not entirely implausible. She is a very smart and capable leader (while also a bit cold and calculating - certainly not a MILF!

That being said, she has a public image that has already been cast to a large degree. She could easily win the election even without the support of all the people that say "I can't stand that woman!". While she is more than capable of handling the office of President (many, many times better than the current occupant), I just cringe at the thought of the national mood that would instantly set in - on an unwarranted basis - since the knives would be out from Day One. My feeling is that Barak Obama has the best chance of introducing a new tone in the country. (And not just a skin tone). I will be happy to support either one.

How many people actually believe that this should be her role? I'm sure more than anyone would like to admit.

Honestly, if she was an man would this really be a discussion? Well, the crying would be, I agree.
(Forgot how to embed a video and it's not n the test drive section anymore. If someone could shot it to me again that would be great.)

No kidding! I'm a lot more interested in what the candidates are going to do about Health Care (which will become a massive issue once the baby boomers retire in the next 10 years and add to the medicare system), the War on Terror, the Federal deficit, and how they will work effectively with Congress. They all "say" they can work with congress, but can they really? Most seem to do ok in the first 2 years but the opposition settles scores during the remaining 2 years.Ben Clark wrote:I HATE when this kind of stuff gets blown out of proportion. They're all politicians, and they're all calculated.
