I thought the polls had been posted. I'll investigate.

UMLL Top 5 Pre-Season according to MCLA Mag, which just arrived at my doorstep:
Division 1:
1) UMD
2) U of M
3) Marquette
4) St. Olaf
5) Mankato
Division 2:
1) St. John's (also 2nd in the nation)
2) St. Thomas (also 3rd in the nation)
3) UW-EC
4) Bethel
5) Carleton
**UWEC, Carleton and Bethel all received votes but didn't make it into the top-25**
There was a very nice write-up about our conference on page 24, focusing especially on the strength of our Division 2. Congrats to SJU and STU - to have the 2nd and 3rd ranked teams in the country in one conference, and especially to do it in consecutive years, is something special. In Division 1, I don't think anyone will argue that Duluth has taken a huge step forward and is a legitimate contender for the national title this year. Congratulations to UMD for finding themselves in the upper echelons of the MCLA.
I would highly recommend getting a subscription to MCLA the Mag for anyone who hasn't already. It's very professionally done, and will give another measure of legitimacy to the MCLA over time.
