Look no further than Illinois' 4 turnovers. 28 points for USC.
All together, they were more "giveaways" than turnovers, but oh well. I'm sure the Illinois coaches are groaning watching that game film.
College Football Pick 'Em
Corbin,
Never saw an updated spreadsheet with my picks I re-sent you added in, and would love to know how everyone is doing? Could you maybe post an update here, showing the top ten leaders and what their picks are for the final two games tonight and tomorrow? I don't think I am in contention (except maybe for the basement LOL) myself, but this update would still add some interest for all of us who participated in your contest.
Thanks!

whoa, whoa, whoa.....hold the phone there Sexy! Is anyone going to feel frisky enough to compile the results? Zeus may have a real shot at this thing. When I looked orginally Corbin was doing really well, but that was only 8 or 9 games in.

My votes weren't on the original spreadsheet, so maybe I should claim victory since nobody but Corbin can disprove this? Nah, I think I was middle-of-pack at best, and likely worse. I really am curious not only to see an actual ranking of players, but also a ranking by confidence points, to see how that shook out.
Maybe someday our guru will return here and elighten us all.

I filled it out up to the sugar, Zeus and Corbin were tied with 19, jessexy and bstelax were tied for third with 18...I was dead last so i stopped filling it out..
So I decided to finish filling it out, it finished with Jessexy and Zeus tied for 1st with 22 a piece, Zeus had the closest point differential for the NC game with 10....Congrats
I still finished dead last, thats what i get for picking the way I wanted the games to go instead of how they would have probably gone

Flak, thanks for stepping up. Jessexy, I would split it with you if I could, seriously!! I thought the Maryland game killed me and I was kicking myself for a personal pick. If anyone needs me I'll be working on my Collegelax College Football Pick'em winner acceptance speach.

DId we really tie? I was just kidding cuz i figured i was out of it. i knew i won alot of games but i was way off on the confidence points. My point differential in the Champ. game was 8, so it was really close.
Zeuslax, you are the champ though. you get credit for the tiebreaker. but please include me in your acceptance speech, you know, one of those close victory but respect for your closest competition type deals.....
peace.

According to the spreadsheet, you had the highest confidence score (384) followed by Corbin (374) and then Zues (365)
