I am back from my self imposed vacation from the CollegeLAX message boards. Did a lot of things: got a Christmas Tree, decorated it, hung out with some friends, applied to doctoral programs, and even tried to get a date.

Anyway, check your email after noon tomorrow. I am sending everything out late tonight/tomorrow morning. If you have any questions please feel free to email me at cjwilhelmi@yahoo.com.

On the excel file you will find several tabs across the bottom. The first is labeled as "YOUR FORUM NAME HERE". Double click and insert your message board top secret identity. In each of the outlined boxes put the number "1" for the team that you think will win. On the right side you will see a column labeled "CONFIDENCE RANKING" please label them in reverse order from 1 to whatever (1 for very confident 25 for not so confident). In the middle of the row for the Championship Game and Sugar Bowl game there is a grey box, put the point differential for the game in that box.

The winner will be decided by overall win/loss record with tie breakers being the results of the margin of victory for the (1) Championship Game and (2) Sugar Bowl.

Again, the winner gets the head that I stole from our good friend Joe "I Hate Hawaii" Taragowski two years ago. This head will be custom strung by me with my new Express Pocket (beware Rock-It Pocket, I am coming for you

). Actually if everyone wants to "voluntarily" toss in a couple bucks I think we can buy an actual nice head an I will do the stringing for free. Can we actually do that? I am sure there is a rule against it somewhere. [/early tangent]

I never could open the tab to see your picks, CJ, but it's all good because I didn't need the help anyway! LOL

Thanks for doing this, I'll look forward to seeing a master spreadsheet with everyone else's picks, so during this bowl season we can chart our our standings versus everyone else. It may all come down to that final point differential in the national championship game, which will make things interesting down to the final play of the final game of the year.

I have sent everything out to everyone who has sent stuff to me.

I will not be able to check my email before tonight so if your slow and didn't email me or send me a PM with your email then you won't get credit for the first game but send it to me anyway and we will get you going on the rest of them.

I will be working on the master copy and instructions on how it works by the end of the game tongiht and will be sending it out to everyone.

Rut Roh, Laxfan. Are you just surmising you are tied for last place or have you seen the master spreadsheet that was supposed to be sent out last night? I never got one -- I sure hope CJ got my entry and I'm officially competing in this thing! I spent enough time figuring out my picks, was almost like doing my Top25 MCLA ballot.

PS 1-0 with my 18 confidence game checked off... tied for first place

Arent the confidence points backwards from the normal Bowl pools? Shouldnt you put more confidence points for the games ur sure will win? Or am i confused?
