First off let me say that I think a lot of us are very excited by the prospect of a great MCLA magazine, and huge kudos are due to all those involved.
I asked as noted on the mclamag.com system, but didn't get a reply yet... Having subscribed for the magazine, it appears I will get issues starting with Jan 08. However, there are references to, and examples of, content from the "Prototype Issue (Summer 2007)". Is there any way to get a copy of that issue? What's in it? Will the Jan 08 issue be a whole new set of content? I'm guessing that there would be plenty of others interested in the possibility. One might even hope that inaugural subscriptions might include a copy of the "first" (Summer 2007) issue, but I'd certainly be willing to buy it separately (the FAQ just says "Back issues are $5.00 a copy", but no other info as to how to go about it). Also would be interested in the whereabouts of any retail outlets as mentioned in the FAQ (for extra copies, referrals to friends, etc. as the need might arise). Please let us know...

Thanks. Everyone involved is very excited as well. The best way people can support this project is to subscribe.
The prototype issue is not available to the public. It's purpose was just for presentation. It was not printed in mass.
Information about how to get a back issue will be available when there is a back issue to get.
Retail outlets will also be available when the first issue reaches the vendors.

I am guessing since AO, the designer of the site, went to ASU.

Any ideas when ...
my first issue is going to show up in my mail box? I'm really geeked about checking out that first issue.

The first issue is great! I think the quality of the photos are what really make this mag great (the articles aren't bad either.)
I thought I heard/read somewhere that there was going to be a stick doctor section. When can we expect that?

Don't worry DG. Mine has not arrived yet as well. I guess NorCal is the furthest away.
Question for AO, Where are they printed and shipped from? Is there a business that just prints magazines?
