He cannot help himself for he is an Ainge. We were lucky to be there and well, we're not Iowa. :D The nicest thing I can say is that Heath Shuler Part Deux graduates this year or at least his eligibility is up.

I would expect Trutt Cathy to want to move the CFA bowl to an alternate (non-Sunday) date.

That is what I think but how will the world of bowls and ESPN feel about that.

And for those that watched the Hawai'i game last night: Does that not look like a great place to play? The atmosphere is amazing. The field is garbage but the fans are amazing.

I'm not sure I can take much more of ESPN whoring themselves out over the need for a play-off. Each of their anchors seems to make an under the breath comment at any chance they get... it's pathetic. Their attempts to get Pete Carroll and Mark Richt to whore themselves out to pollsters last night was also pathetic.

If it were up to ESPN, Pitt over WVU, Missouri over Kansas, Oklahoma over Missouri, and many other games would all just be meaningless obstacles to get to the play-off. Now, those games are as important as ever... No National Championship game for WVU, Kansas, or Missouri because they could not win big games... as it should be.

Ohio State is in at 11-1 (fair enough).

The other spot should go to Georgia because they were at #4, but it won't because they could not win the SEC East. Pollsters will put in USC or LSU, most likely LSU. If you have complaints about this placement, don't blame the BCS, blame the conference championship game system or better yet, blame Georgia for getting blown out by Tennessee in October.

Okay, all for now.

This is truly unforgivable and for such they should not get a BCS bid.

Trust me, I would take Ainge over Jake Christensen any day of the week.

I think Hawaii should get a place in the game. They are undefeated. I want to see if they can win it all. As a huge fan of the mid major teams I have to argue that the system will never be fair until the teams from the ACC, SEC Big 12, Big Ten, Big East, and Pac 10 start to make a stronger push to play all the mid majors and travel to those schools. The current NCAA football system is not fair to the mid majors.

If it is not Hawaii, then I will argue for Kansas. I want to see the 1-loss teams compete. I have to admit that I loved the bowl system previous to the BCS. I am a huge fan of all the bowl games, and I loved it when you got to see a great game during Christmas break.

Everytime I travel back east I curse the gods for allowing a man to close my favorite restaurant on earth for a day. I am genuinely curious to see what they do about this, if they move the game it is kind of silly.

Also, Hawai'i was rather impressive in terms of fan support last night, that stadium was Rocking with a capital R when they scored the go ahead touchdown. Truly an inspiring sight, and I'm sure it could catch a few recruits' eyes as well.

They end the Chik-Fil-A PGA tournament on Sundays, and they don't sell any food at the tourney on the final day.

So it's the teams that play already hard schedule's jobs to play the weak teams? How bout the weak teams do it? Fresno State does it every year. They're in the same conference as Hawaii. Or do they not count?

The man has his core beliefs, whether you agree with him or not.

Chick-Fil-A has shut down restaurants (especially out West in California) that did not follow the corporate rules on closing down on Sundays. I'm surprised that CFA hasn't made it out to Oregon yet.

We had one in Moline closed for opening on Sunday. I appreciate the man's beliefs but come on, it's Chik-Fil-A! That like asking OJ to stop looking for the killer(s) on Sunday or the Dolphins to not win on Sunday or asking Philip to put down the last donut.
