With analysis like this, you have a future working for ESPN. :D

And he may be worse than his brother.

He is the first quarterback I have ever seen to "QB slide" while running the spread option.

God hates Oregon Football and never wants us to win. We have lost 7 or 8 players this year to knees or feet. And last night we lost the guy we clearly could not lose. If you want the definition of Heisman, look at Dennis, cause we suck with out him. I could see us losing the next two with out him.

regarding the Heisman race: All of the top flight QB's seem to be sliding toward the end (Davis at UO, Ryan at BC, Tebow at UF). Maybe if Missouri or Kansas runs the table to a BCS bowl, one of their QB's would win it?

Do I have to learn their names?

Chase Daniel at Missouri (I think.). Forget the KU QB's name. But I think that the Jayhawks will play for all the marbles and they have been pretty impressive this year.

Colt Brennan deserves consideration also. UH Head Coach June Jones calls his QB "the most accurate passer I have ever worked with in college or even the NFL". Yeah, I know, Hawaii is not an elite program so I guess none of their players can be good enough to be considered for the award from the actual folks who cast votes, regardless of how many NCAA all-time passing records he sets.

As far as "God hating the Oregon football team", if last night's loss was evidence of a Supreme Being then I may have start going to synagogue again and praying regularly. I have been an agnostic for a long time but have been always open to proof of God's actual existence. If she does exist, then of course she would be wise enough not to allow the Ducks to be ultimately successful.

If you throw Colt Brennan's name out there, then you have to throw Graham Harrell's name into the hat. Harrell has thrown for more yards (most in FBS), more touchdowns (most in FBS), same amount of interceptions and a higher passer rating than Brennan.

With that said, I personally don't think either should be mentioned.

in my eyes, one of the overlooked stats with regard to Dixon and Tebow is their solid # of td passes (20, 23 respectively) compared to their # of INTs (4, 5 respectively).

Who knows what will happen with Dixon and his leg, but
If tebow keeps it up for the last 2 reg season games and a bowl game, should be over 3,000 yards passing, 1,000 yards rushing, have somewhere in the low to mid 50s total TDs with a single digit # of INTS.

he needs to bust off a 20 yard multi-juke td run, a 'wow factor' play to put him over the top.

Hogan - I doubt a Soph on a team with 3 losses is going to win the Heisman. Tebow, Dixon (done for the year), and Brennan (playing halfway around the world for a WAC team, sat out last night in Reno) are done IMHO.

I think the winner will come from this field - Pat White (WVU), Darren McFadden (Ark), Chase Daniel (Mizzou), Todd Reesing (Kansas), or Matt Ryan (BC, they have to win tonight at Clemson though for him to have any shot).

I know its nearly impossible to win the Heisman as a freshman but Sam Bradford has quietly put up some very good numbers this season. He is first in the country in passer rating, tied for the fourth most passing touchdowns and his team only has one loss and could be playing in the BCS Championship.

Hawaii sure has proven how rock solid they are...beating perennial powerhouse and BCS favorite Nevada on a last second field goal.

Hawaii getting BCS bid for their cupcake schedule is a damn joke.

(Anyone wanna make a bet that Hawaii's next opponent (Boise State #18) jumps up to 15 for next week's game? Always seems to happen late to give teams some "viability". Boise State's played 1 BCS conference team (Washington) and lost by 2 TDs.)

1) Yes I did.
2) And I really don't care, I don't have any ties to him.
3) Iowa lost at home. To Western Michigan. On Senior Day. Awesome.

It could be worse.

You could be Alabama (24+ point favorite at home) losing to the Warhawks of UL-Monroe by 7.
