yes, it sure will!**
The only issue is the number of teams that will be attending. I don't think St. Mary's is going to be able to do it, and there are four teams that are on the 50/50 fence. That takes us down to 12-13 teams. So we are still good from the tournament stand-point.....but we really need everyone there. This is supposed to be a celebration of the league and all of its great players.
One of the fence teams that is 50/50 is ASU. GET IT TOGETHER! You telling me that U of A is bringing a squad, and you all are just going to watch. Do your Alumni realize they get to play the Wildcats' Alumni?
Make it happen!
Let us know if you need any help or more details.

I know that I would be in to play.
I can believe that ASU is on the fence seeing how I haven't heard a thing about it. Once I find out who is organizing this for our team I will do my best to rally the troops and get a team out there.

RopeNoRope,
Track Down Billy Mac, (Bill Macallister - Class of '00). He is the best mid-fielder you have ever had, coached there for 1-2 years, is a former Suspect, and is still living in the area.
He can really help you guys; both on the field and getting some people together.

Here are the four teams on the fence
ASU, UCLA, UC Davis (how this is possible with all of their alumni who still play...?), Stanford
We need all four of these teams, they have had great players and are staple programs from our league.
One of the great things about this tournament is that it is only going to be once every four years. The other great thing, is that the playing field should be pretty even. The difference between the better teams and the other teams in our league isn't quality of players, it is the number of quality players (Depth).
But in this case, you start taking your best players from over all of the years, the pool is so big that depth is no longer an issue and it starts to get tight for those 26 spots.

I think the proper wording would've been to substitute the words "age and/or conditioning" for "number."

That would be OUTSTANDING if both of those schools could make it happen. Whoever is their alumni coordinator, have them email or contact me and I will send them the tournament packet right away.

Curious about how many teams have committed to this event. Can anyone update how many teams are going to be involved?

Also a little curious, considering that the first four was canceled. I'm sure that the two events were not related, however it does possibly take a little bit of the steam out of that particular weekend...
