Each year we have several men that join our team that have never played before. Each year I want to provide some sort of "lax for dummies" to their parents so that they can quickly catch onto the game and support the team.
A few years ago I saw one that was designed like the plastic laminate maps, but have not been able to find it sense. Does anyone know of an inexpensive and easy to obtain resource that I can direct our new parents to?
You all have always been a great resource

Check out this site at US Lacrosse - it may have some information pertinent to your request.

I know that there used to be a printed guide for parents that were new to the game - I may have a copy in my bag at home - I'll try to remember to check and I can tell you where it came from.

multi-sport guide
"Mom's Guide to Sports" lists various activities in plain English.
Used it before with parents new to the game at the MS and HS level. It was well-received.
