This is a quote from the coach of the number 1 team in the league. This is pretty much as good of an argument as it gets for the Utes to get a higher ranking in the 3/23 poll, considering their next ranked opponent isn't until 3/25 (Cal Poly...BIG game). I didn't want to say anything, but I personally think the Utes are deserving of a little better than a #18 ranking.

"UTE PASS DYNAMITE

The Utes were fresh, having not played yesterday, they were hungry for the upset, and they are most definitely a team on the rise. They are disciplined and well coached. Utah is ranked 20th or something like that. This is a joke, because we have played a few teams around that ranking so far this year, and I am quite certain that the Utes will be having not much problem beating any of them. Of course that is just my humble opinion.

I only mention this because they (Utes) are also much better than many of the teams that we have played in St. Louis in the past. Without being an MDIA/USLIA old dog or whatever it is hard to get enough of the MDIA polling respect needed to get an at-large bid to the National tournament these days, and they would likely need to rank near the top ten in order to earn that bid. "

Thank you Flip, its nice to know that the the Utes' talent is recognized by one of the most respected figures in the USL-MDIA. I want my boys to go to Blaine, because they deserve it, and I know what a tough position they are in, in a league where the top three (RMLC) teams are also top seven (USL-MDIA) teams...

Big game for the Utes with Gonzaga coming up, Tom Fernandez and the Utes against Rick Kladis and the Zags. Should be a great lacrosse game, wish it was being played indoors here at our tourney so I could watch it...

True Dan, two Judge Memorial Catholic High School Alumni (All-Americans too) going head to head. Well, not exactly head to head, considering they're both attackmen and one of them is the coach too (that being Rick). Anyway, should be fun to watch!!
