Has there been a date set for the A&M Hotter'n'Hell Tournament?? Also, any word when the Fall Tournament will be??

I have never seen a group with more bad luck with weather than A&M. Good guys, horrible luck with weather on tournament weekends, year after year.

who do i need to talk to about entering a team into the hotter than hell tourney?

TCU is in the works to hold a Fall tournament! The date for the tournament would either be the Weekend of October 20,21 or October 27,28th.

This would be an eight team tournament with each team being guaranteed three games. It would take place on the campus of TCU.

Details will follow. Right now I am trying to gauge the interest level in teams that want to participate.

I would like to get an idea. If we get more teams then 8 that want to play in it, the potential to have a 12 team tournament is there.

Yes a bathroom at the field will be done. Heck the department might even spring for two!

So far I have had a couple responses thanks to all who have written back. Keep your emails coming if you are indeed interested in getting into the tournament.

The Date has been set for our Fall Lacrosse Tournament!!!


It will held October 20th and 21st. We have the weekend after that reserved as well in case of a rain-out on the first weekend. Which may happen if the fall is anything like this summer!

What's the latest...which teams are participating and is it just Saturday, or both Saturday and Sunday?

TCU, SMU, Oklahoma, and Big D Men's Team will be competing this weekend. All games are on Saturday. It'll be nice getting some competition other than our own team.

The four teams are indeed TCU, SMU, OU and Big D Men's Club.

The first game will take place at 10 am and will pit TCU vs Big D men's Club.

Games will go on every hour after that. All contests will take place on TCU Intramural fields which is located next to Garvey Rosenthal Soccer Stadium on the TCU Campus.
