LSA Preseason Poll

Postby theLaxMJ32 on Tue Oct 09, 2007 2:18 pm

like i said earlier im sorry if you misunderstood my statement earlier....im not accusing you of anything karl...i never said it was your fault and im not saying that you rigged the votes at all...maybe other people are saying that but all i said was that i think"in my opinion" that the awards will be more spread out because the new commissioner is not a head coach as well....which is not an accusation or an attack on you , your integrity, or your ability as a commissioner or head coach. so once again im sorry if you took it that way.

Karl,
Everyone is incredibly grateful of your contributions as a fan, coach, and administrator in the LSA. Rightfully so, you have been recognized both from within the conference, the MCLA, and the lacrosse community in general. I don't think anyone intended to make the accusation that you were EVER involved in any foul-play with any facet of LSA competition or award recognition. The fact is that we all should tip our hats to you for what you've done for collegiate lacrosse in Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma, respectively.

I think what laxMJ was trying to say is that he and many others are excited about the upcoming season, both with many teams continually growing from both administrative and performance aspects. With a change of commissioner, a dramatic change for any organization, the excitement and anticipation for the upcoming season is only further catalyzed.

... And to everyone,
Awards are a great way of recognizing individual achievement. When it comes down to it, stats are stats, and are undeniable. While some players may exceed others in certain categories and fail to receive award accreditation for such performances, it by no means invalidates the legitimacy of the recognition of others. We should be so fortunate that we have a democratic process set up for such awards, and while we may be unhappy with the results, despite our own personal biases, the named players in each category did SOMETHING that made others respect their talents and accomplishments.

That being said, good luck in Fall-ball everyone, Graham Harrell for the Heismann.

why did you have to spell my name wrong? you can spell bienvenu but not schneider ha...i agree with ben,i dont think the lax mj meant any wrong in what he said whether his points were valid or not. accusing someone of rigging an award system is very ballsy esp. without any proof. im sad to see karl leave as a commissioner but if he taught anything to the new commish we have many great years to come in the LSA. its a beautiful day for lacrosse in lubbock!!!!!

p.s. Harrel or Crabtree for heisman

This is somewhat embarassing. See the top of the page and scroll to the bottom.

Now we know MJ's true identity!

haha. having two different names would require 2 different school email addresses because this website doesnt allow yahoo or hotmail email addresses. which is pretty much impossible because texas tech is extremely anal about student email. plus i love miss spelling my own name and anonymously posting things and my number is 8 not 32. and i live in lubbock and dallas not houston. and i didnt even have an account on the date those messages were posted....great work mcguyver

p.s. im not the lax MJ im the lacrosse Lebron....write that down

I was having fun with this before, but now I'm just going to put you in your place. For everyone's viewing pleasure, please click on the following link:

http://forums.collegelax.us/viewtopic.p ... 7&start=30

You will find a conversation between theLaxMJ (Clayton S.) and a member named lax4ever at the top of the page. I called him out on this, so he went back to those posts and edited them with "haha" and "sure" from what they previously read. You can tell because it says "last edited by laxMJ on October 10,2007." Unfortunately, he didn't take my advice and scroll to the bottom of the page where he signed theLaxMJ with his name (Clayton S.).

Just for grins, I thought back to another obnoxious post theLaxMJ made several months ago in reference to (once again) his own stats. Funny how some renegade blogger is signing his name Clatyon S. again.

I don't take sarcasm or personal attacks ("great work mcguyver" - actually spelled Macgyver) very well. I hope you realize that you just ended any chance of becoming the LSA MVP or whatever you were politicking for. This has been one of the most pathetic situations I have ever experienced, and I'm truly upset with myself for getting into it with a player. However, the last six years that I've been involved with the LSA has never seen a player with such arrogance

Please stop posting.

Great post Clayton. It made a lot of sense. Whats even better is that you edited your post to that others couldnt see it. There has to be a way to match up IP's on this loser.
Anyway, I can't think of why UNT is ranked so low. Did you guys not see what they have TREVOR! That should be an automatic #3 or #4 ranking.
I wish my grass was emo so it would cut itself.

haha ok think what you guys want, this seems really funny to me but whatever. im just here to play lacrosse and have fun, you can ask anyone who knows me. im one of the most easy going laid back guys and im very sincere and care free.i wasnt even at home when those comments were posted.i have class all day tues and thurs from 830 to 5 then i have practice at 530.

i dont have time to bicker and post on this forum i have 6 classes this semester plus lacrosse.if i wanted to politic my self into league MVP i would do it on the field not on some meaningless forum that doesnt solve anything, and i would do it in the spring not the fall. i used a friends account to talk to everett and karl that day because i didnt have an account then, my school email was discontinued due to bad grades and school probation in the previous fall which means collegelax.com wouldnt let me create an account because i didnt have a Vaid email address. i just got my tech email address back this August.

renegade blogger? Again, this website/forum does not allow you to have TWO account names. it requires valid email addresses other than yahoo or hotmail which is what i have other than my tech address. so if you wanna accuse me and tell me i lost my chance of MVP for something someone else did then go ahead i dont even care about winning MVP i would rather have a championship. get your facts straight rather than spending all night looking for old forums where he posted or i posted under his name months ago. i purposely put my name at the end o the post when i asked karl about the stats so he would know it was me and not someone else. collegelax.us has a very strict member policy. they purposely make it to where you cant have two profiles so fake names and memberships cant be made. so how is it possible for me to? im honestly computer illiterate i would have no idea what to do, i just figured out how to quote and private message last night. i told him to erase the karl comments not the past ones.

so you can believe what you guys want because i just joined yesterday check my email address on my profile. itll say clayton.schneider@ttu.edu. you should be upset with yourself for getting into it with a player especially since your accusing me of creating fake accounts which CANT be done on here. i dont know how many times i have to say it. ill say it again, you CANT create more than one name or account on here. Karl knows that Everett knows that, everyone knows that and so should you. so stop attacking me and threatening me about my chances of MVP which i dont even care about. all i care about is winning. i even defended your attackman michael carrington in an arguement this weekend with a player on our team that played against him in highschool. so i dont deserve these accusations, ridicule, and childish name calling.

p.s. the lacrosse lebron comment was an inside joke. kyle harrisson is the lacrosse lebron. so quit jumping to conclusions about arrogance.

Okay, this conversation has gone on long enough and the participants have had their say. Let's either get back on topic regarding the polls or drop it and move on to something else.

thank you shrek i totally agree. i also think that UNT should be ranked higher especially higher than Baylor due to the loss of Neil Warf. Also, dont count OU out of the top 10, their program is growing stronger every year. Lacrosse is gonna be super exciting this year and i cant wait. its always fun to see new and returning talent to the league, and the rule changes will be interesting as well
