-SFA, SHSU, Trinity, UTA admitted to LSA Division II
-St. Ed's reinstated to LSA Division II
-SMU reinstated to LSA Division I
-Oklahoma State admitted to LSA Division I North
-TCU moves up to LSA Division I North
-Texas moves down to LSA South
-New league commish named, not affiliated with any program, his name is Jason, more in this to come from Karl most likely. A big thank you to Karl Lynch for his hard work these past couple of years as the leader of the LSA. He has left a positive imprint and should be awarded with a pretty plaque that he can hang in his office
Oh, and the MCLA Mag is legit, as we all got a preview in print! Everyone needs to buy a subscription!
That is all, if messed up this summary, sorry, we will wait for the official report.

Can someone from the LSA please clarify?
I see that Stephen F. Austin (LSA D2) & Sam Houston State (LSA D2) were two new teams admitted to the conference and that TCU moved up from LSA D2 to LSA D1.
But I thought that Trinity, Texas-Arlington, St. Edward's, SMU, & Oklahoma State were already members of the LSA?

LSA bylaws
When teams commit infractions the year before they have to be readmitted to be in good standing.

Just thought I'd let it be known that Northern Michigan University has several games listed from the 2006-2007 season which were played my Marquette (WI), not NMU. I think the mistake came from NMU being in Marquette (MI).

Good Catch. The games that Marquette played that should not be on Northern Michigan's schedule are:
Minnesota
Iowa State (x2)
Wisconsin-Stevens Point
St. Olaf
Minnesota-Duluth
Mankato
Nebraska
Vanderbilt
Tennessee
K-State
St. Cloud
Thanks for noticing that. I am sure Sonny will correct it when he gets a chance.

The SELC, GRLC, LSA, PNCLL, RMLC, CCLA, & UMLL conference alignments should all be up to date for the 2007-2008 season:
http://www.collegelax.us/conferences.php
Note - that the schedule and roster information will automatically populate on those team pages once the MCLA.us web site is updated later this fall.
If you have updates for the team contact information listed at the bottom of your team page on CollegeLAX, please contact me with that information. (Email me or send me a PM.)
Still waiting on the conference meetings for the WCLL and Pioneer League for their conference membership changes.
