ND went 10-3, 5-7 and 6-6 under Willingham. I wonder how long Weis will be staying if they finish like they're playing now...

Washington seems to be doing better b/c of it...

Notre Dame is irrelevant in college football.

It is only as matter of time before the knee-jerk out another coach and Claussen transfers to Tennessee and we continue to suck.

Well we are certainly thrilled to have Coach Willingham here, and I do believe that we will return to the ranks of a winning program by next season. It takes at least three or four seasons for a coach to truly be judged after he has had the chance to build a team with his own recruits. The Huskies are getting better, but still not ready to compete for the Pac-10 title. This year's schedule is just brutal: at Syracuse, Boise State, Ohio State, at UCLA, USC, at Arizona State... etc etc. Frankly I'm happy we're not 0-5! Last year we had a chance to beat USC down in LA but couldn't get a snap off in the red zone before time expired. That really would have been an upset. I'll be home to watch the kickoff tomorrow night, provided our PNCLL meeting doesn't last more than four hours.

On the original subject, I got to watch a little of ND this year, and believe they are not only a bad football team but also are seemingly not very well coached, either.

I thought that was Michigan that rose from the dead against the Nittany Lions - Penn State isn't even on ND's schedule?

Oh yeah, my bad, moment of stupidity
