JP,

Ok so here's are the questions

1) How much is it?

2) Is it monthly, quarterly, etc?

3) Website? Or will it be tied to collegelax.us?

I forget the how much they were asking. It was in the neighborhood of $30 a year, but don't quote me on that.

I believe they plan 7 issues a year. 1 Fall, and the rest in season.

It will be in no way related to (at least that I've heard) collegelax.us.

Actually, the question would be: Who were the first 3 MCLA players to grace the cover of IL ??

And the answer: Ted Ferrin of BYU; Jordan Supraner of FSU; and Robert Morales of UM.

That illustration was done by James Schaffer from 3 of my photos from last season. The BYU and UM shots were from the MCLA Tournament in Dallas; Jordan Supraner's shot was from the FSU/UNH game during the Southern Shoot-Out in Atlanta back in February .... I believe Mr. Supraner only scored about 9 or 10 goals in that game against UNH ....

Who was the first player to be on the cover of ANY national lacrosse magazine?

Answer: Ryan Davis - CSU 2001 on cover of Lacrosse Magazine

I actually take that back since the whole Cal team was on the cover a year or two before.
Always on point . . .

That was my first Lacrosse Magazine. I still remember the day that I got that. I was so excited. Little did I know what it would lead to.

well if mcla mag is posting an image of its first issue, isn't that Justin Hier who is the first person to be on the cover? http://www.mclamag.com/

NCAA void

Postby Karl Lynch on Fri Sep 21, 2007 11:23 am

It appears that the NCAA can't find a place to put 8000 college lacrosse players. Good thing the MCLA can.

So, does anybody know yet what the article says (apparently about the potential of those three schools and/or other similar ones "making the jump to DI") and other growth-related issues, and what's the spin?
