Meeting

Postby Ken Lovic on Sun Sep 16, 2007 8:04 pm

Thanks to everyone for making the trip and having another god fall meeting.

Highlights:
Welcome to 5 new teams to Division II
Tennessee Wesleyan, Palm Beach Atlantic, Georgia Southern, High Point, and Coastal Carolina

Bufff Grubb informs the league he is stepping dow as President following this season. We thank Buff for his tireless efforts to make the SELC a GREAT CONFERENCE! The SELC will start looking for a new leader in the upcoming season.

Jacksonville, College of Charleston, Georgia State and UNC-Greensboro all in attendance to learn about what it takes to join. All of the teams were able to schedule multiple games with SELC Division II teams.

SELC Championships- will be held April 18-20 at Northview HS in Georgia.

Division II has now split into 3 regions with the top 2 teams in each division earning bids to the SELC Championships.

Happy to say STX and LaxWorld are on board once again as official sponors of the SELC. LaxWorld donated over $5000 to the SELC in team buy back specials. THANKS LAXWORLD

The meeting went quick and we accomplished what needed to be done.
Thanks to everyone for being on time and helping make the fall meeting another succesful gathering.

so with the new D2 set up, it's 7 teams for 2 spots, 4 teams for 2 spots (or 5 if alabama is able to play post season), and 5 teams for 2 spots?

If anyone can help, I need a decent logo for Palm Beach Atlantic. Couldn't find one on the Internet.
