And for the love of Yaweh, can we let the dead horse of Calvin not going to Dallas R.I.P. with Anna Nicole, please?
Here is what I think for all you rugby fans out there, that there will be a Super League created consisting of the BYUs, Michigans, CSU, etc... It will be by invite only with new membership evaluate each year.
The rest of the A Division and B Division will remain intact with their current conferences. While there should be a new 10th conference added, there won't. More later... gotta take my kid to the barber.

Did I not just propose this here:KnoxVegas wrote:What about this talk of taking the top 60 (or so teams) and leaving in the rest of the MCLA on the outside looking in? Will there finally become a structure of three division akin to the NCAA, with top tier made up of the Top 60 teams, the rest filling out the second tier and the B Division composing the new third tier.
No, not really. And you didn't use any cool hand gestures when you didn't say it.

Well, it was good to hear that our conference directors stood up earlier this week to the proposed changes. It will be interesting to see what comes out of these meetings this weekend after this.
It seems to me that we should be tightening things up, enforcing our current rules and working to improve what we have currently before thinking that changes are needed. We definitely need improved by-laws and clarity in some areas - end of year financials, eligibility sanctions written and posted, and meeting reports are just a few things that pop out.
Ethan, I'll take an M, a C, and a L and a A.
