DVD's from MCLA championships?

Postby Sonny on Tue Jul 31, 2007 11:24 am

We are putting together plans for DVD sales of the four televised MCLA games from Pizza Hut Park in Frisco, TX:
MCLA Div. A Final: BYU vs. Oregon
MCLA Div. B Final: Montana vs. SJU
MCLA Div. A Semifinal 1: BYU vs. UCSB
MCLA Div. A Semifinal 2: Oregon vs. Colorado State

These game DVD's will feature widescreen video from the multi-camera set up at Pizza Hut Park synced to Ken Lovic's and my audio podcast for each particular game. I just got done watching a preliminary copy of the BYU/Oregon championship game and it looks pretty sweet. The video portion of the broadcast features 3 cameras with multiple slo-mo replays and plenty of crowd/sideline shots.

We are trying to gauge interest in potential sales. The cost of each DVD is still to be determined, but it probably will hover around the $15 mark for each game's DVD. The final price will greatly depend on how many people buy copies of the DVD's.

Please spread the word among parents, fans, and other interested parties. We may open the doors in the CollegeLAX online shop later in August to take pre-sales orders for the DVD's, so we produce an exact number of ordered DVD's (and don't get stuck with extras).

Let me know if you have questions. Thanks.

i would probably buy at least one....

Question, fully aware that it might be a stupid one...Would it be 4 separate DVDs or all the games on one?

Does the Oregon-CSU game come with a picture-in-picture with a press box cam of Brauck and Nate?

I have feeling it would be four separate DVD's.

not all games on one dvd.

if all four games on dvd, then it would be stupid one.

I'd consider buying the dvds. It'd be nice to see the hometown team in the Championship game(SJU) and I'd like to see some quality MCLA action with the other games

Anyone know if there was a full recording of the Montana vs. Westminster B-Semifinal? Looks like there won't be a slick reproduction, but a lot of folks have contacted me about getting a copy of that game. Anyone?
