Alright its about that time again where we get to talk about all the new (and gimmicky) equipment hitting the market.
Here is what I know from talking to my "sources".
Warrior - New arm pads are the exact same as last year but with new colors. Couple new heads - Stiffi has titanium built into the sidewall. Blade 2.0 and the F-Off. F-Off is a FOGO only head as the lower sidewall is smaller that the upper. Basically you can line up on the line but the top of your head is farther over the line then the bottom. New shaft called the Woodrow - it is a KPro with a wood looking dye sublimated into it. New helmet called Venom that has the air bladder system. From the helmet guy at a major manufacturer that we all know and love "It is the best helmet I have ever put on". Supposedly it has the Triumph face mask. Also heard that Warrior is jacking up their prices again.
Brine - Couple new shafts with the scandium material. They have one that has the air holes in it, another that has the swizzle tact and a third that has both (if I remember right). They also have a Cyber Pro coming out. The Voyce will officially make an appearance this year in mass quantity. I don't recall them having too much new besides that.
STX - New Gary Gait line to debut called the G22. G22 head will only be available on the crankshaft system. Also heard that they are bringing back the X2 for this year but it will be available only on the crankshaft. Don't ask me what the difference is between the new X2 and the X3, I have no idea
Gait - Heard rumors of them going to more of a crankshaft style system. I dont know much about their new stuff but heard rumors of a revamped Torque and a new line that goes with the Identity Helmet.
Harrow - Don't know anything.
If you know of anything else or have pictures please feel free to throw them up.

I saw the new head yesterday. It's called the Thrust and it has a sidewall design very similar to the STX Profile. It comes on a composite shaft that does have a 10 degree bend. The shaft has some goofy name...I think it's the Transitional Offset System, or something like that. Guy in the store told me there will be a Torque Pro that is specific to the new shaft.

from what ive heard, gait is going to get out of the mens market very soon and push soley to the womens game....ive been messing with a Stiffi that I recieved from my favorite vendor prior to release, I dont mind it messing around, but you can imagine the safety concerns if it snaps durring play....
Can we say lawsuit??? Kinda like the first series STX titanium in 96 that shattered durring a game a Catawaba, and stuck in a kids leg.....

New line? I still have my old G22 STX gloves from 1996. Top of the line and like $35 at the time. They had a G22 shaft back in '99-2000 too. Come on Corbin, you should know these things, being the moderator and all.

I'm sure many have heard that adidas is entering the market. They are developing a product line with the Henson Group. Henson Group has been in the team sports market for many years and are known mostly for the BRUTE wresting products. Henson also has a Uniform line called NeuEdge.
I would expect some uniforms and accessories, they already have cleats, but not much more then that to get started.

I'm working on my contacts at Nike right now trying to dig up some things regarding STX...
Are there pictures of any of this new gear? I could see the new Warrior helmet having stars for the ear holes...

I just tried on the RBK gear and it is the most comfortable stuff I have ever put on. I will post pictures later. I have to finish a paper and go to class.

Alex, since you have seen the Blade 2.0, how does it compare in flexibility to other Warrior heads? I am assuming that the Blade 2.0 will have a similar face shape as the other 2.0 lines, am I correct?
