Someone told me production company takes 3-4 weeks to edit

a video ( BYU vs Oregon ). I want to purchase DVD ( full two

hours- from 1st quarter to 4th quarter ). If there is no full two

hours of DVD. That's all right.

Thanks

Anything that might become available, I trust that you would let us know... (the e-lacrosse clips are pretty sweet, though).

Professional widescreen DVD's will be available for sale here on CollegeLAX in the next week or two for the following four games:

Div. A Final: BYU vs. Oregon
Div. B Final: Montana vs. SJU
Div. A Semi # 1 BYU vs. UCSB
Div. A Semi # 2: Oregon vs. CSU

I've seen the finished product and they will be sent to the production house for duplication later this week. It looks pretty sweet.

Got mine today. Very nice.. One idea for next year-I do not know how much extra capacity is on each disc, but what if every team or conference put together a highlight video, and the best however many there is room for becomes filler for the excess room on the disc?

Can anyone describe the vids? Is the camera focused on the ball/individual or do we get the half field view that I love?

DVD of Semi and Final

Postby bhsvideodad on Sun Oct 14, 2007 5:12 pm

The DVD's show 3 views of the action. Main view is from up in the stands close to the center line. Typically a medium shot with about a quarter of the field. Intercut are shots from each end line with a tighter focus, typically on the player with the ball an a few defenders. Filming is similar to what you would see used for a football game. I thought the quality of the dvd for the final was better for the championship than the CSU Oregon semi, although I liked the outcome of the semi better.

The DVD are definitely worth buying and watching. Thanks to Sonny and the MCLA for putting them together.

This is a professional broadcast with multiple camera angles aligned to our podcast game commentary. Link to YouTube video with a few video clips and the DVD video intro:
