trying to invent a term sort of like 'wigger' for a lacrosse team on the east coast but acts like it is on the west coast....

It was kinda boring. Tech likes to slow the ball down on offense since we've traditionally never had much firepower. They did hit about five posts and had a lot of looks on cage but just couldn't finish. The defense was pretty brutal though and had control of things most of the game.

Can y'all explain to us pale Northwesterners what is up with Auburn? When our current Seniors played in St. Louis as Freshmen, they were the toast of the SELC and considered a contender, long-shot or not, for the MDIA title. We didn't play them, but got to I watch the Tigers play. They were fast, talented and well-coached.
What explains their drop from even SELC contention?

The Auburn score was 6-5 in favor of Auburn. Both teams played hard the whole game, with Auburn putting the winning goal in with just minutes remaning. Looks like Auburn is coming together, two wins in two days is a great boost for the team.

If I remember correctly they graduated a bunch of talent on their offense. Their upperclassman loaded midfield and attck of the the 01 and 02 St. Lou teams has graduated. The core of their defense from the 01-02 years is gone along with their goalie. I would call it a rebuilding period for them for a while to come until they get all the pieces back to build another team for a run.
