No offense Sonny, but that website looks like a bad infomercial. Are they legit?

Yes... they have worked with thousands of college teams (varsity and club), spanning multiple sports.

On that "my sports dreams"...we kinda got screwed over by them, or more by a jackass on our own team. long story short, a guy on our team signed us up for it w/o telling anyone, and then dropped out. They came back wanting $2000 for not doing the thing. we eventually figured it out, but put us in a crazy situation. It can raise a lot of money, but they take half of whatever you make up to $2000, or at least thats how it was with us. so be careful. I think it was after you've raised $2000, they wont take any more.
SFA - couple ideas on raising money: Just look around town. I dont know much about nacogdoches, but here in Norman, everyone goes crazy for OU sports, esp like local eateries, bars, car dealerships, etc. And most of the time, if you get one, you can use it as leverage (i.e. we have this company, one of your competitors sponsoring us) towards others like it in the area. Dentist and Lawyers are the bests we've found. Ask the school too. Doesn't hurt to ask, and go straight to the top. Ask the president for something reasonable, state what your doing, etc. If he can't do anything, chances are he could point you in the right direction. Corporate sponsorships can be tricky, but very nice if you can rope it in. Just ask everywhere, They'll want to know a lot about the team and what they're getting into, and know how much you want/have an idea what you'll do, so have one helluva packet explaining the team and everything else for them.
Just give me a call sometime, would love to talk about it if you need anything else
