Kudos to you and the Grizzlies, Kevin. The national title is huge for both Montana Lacrosse and for the PNCLL, and we all applaud the total team effort that brought it home to Missoula.

Congrats also to the Ducks for a great season and for becoming only the second non-WCLL/RMLC team to ever make the Finals. I'm sure you guys are hurting from the loss, but you were the only MCLA team to beat champ BYU in '07, and even if they were the better team yesterday you know that UO is right there with the best of the best, and will continue for the immediate future to be a serious contender.

I also want to congradulate both teams. I know the guys were hurting after the game, I was too, being on the sideline was rough. But there is nothing to hang your heads about, you had a great season, and the best ever in program history. Thanks to all the seniors; Turtle, Trev, Julez, Warren, Jolly, AJ, Krazy, Clough, and Craven. You guys brought the team so far and you will be missed, but the rest of you guys remember this feeling and make sure it never happens again. 2008 is just around the corner. Go DUCKS!!!!!!!!!

Congrats to the Grizz

Postby Randy Tesar on Sun May 20, 2007 4:32 pm

I would like to add my congrats to the Montana Grizzlies. A very classy group who played phenomenally under the pressure. I have tried to make it to all of their games the last three years in the finals and they have always played and represented themselves well. I must admit that I have especially enjoyed their FOS since his fanatic dives into the mud in Blaine. I hope your shoulder heals quickly. Do not forget my offer to repair it at the clinic. I would also suggest that their fans could teach many of the A level teams some etiquette. You know you have a great team when your dog has less hair than your photographer, and is better house trained.

Congrats again Montana

Nawwwww Will, I know enough about Montana Men to know that the only way to offend them is to talk about their own personal sheep. In any case it was a great week, and I hope your team is still on a high that they so richly deserve. Probably lost in all of the hype is the fact that WWU was also exemplary and just caught a bad break.
I guess they really do play lacrosse in the Northwest.

Congrats

A big CONGRATS goes out to Montana and their HUGE win on one the largest of lacrosse stages. Congrats Montana!

Congrats to Oregon as well, for all of their hard work this season, which did not go unnoticed. A trip to nationals apparently wasnt good enough they worked just as hard to make it to the Championship Game, which is a major accomplishment. Congrats Oregon!

On a side note were either of the games (Montana; Oregon) video taped? Oregon does a great job of posting some videos, I was just curious because I would really enjoy seeing some of the game film from this weekend.

The Oregon game was video taped by our dad. However I believe both games were done professionally and will be broadcast in the near future.
The collegelax.us website should have more. The quality of the broadcast on the jumbotron was VERY well done.

Oregon over CSU at MCLA

Postby bhsvideodad on Tue May 22, 2007 11:25 pm

I videotaped the 4 Oregon games at the MCLA Championship. When time allows I will put together a video report on the amazing comeback of the Ducks against CSU. It was truly spectacular.
If they ever show the video shot by the professional team at Pizzahut Park don't miss it. From the views of the Jumbotron it should be spectacular. The producer said it would probably show up at some point on CSTV. I would subscribe just to see it.

Go Ducks
