It's been a long time coming but it's good to see the Cougars back on top of the mountain again. It's nice to have avenged their only MCLA loss in the final tonight. Kudos to Oregon for a great season also.

BYU Cougars, 2007 MCLA National Champions!

Amen to that! After some heart-breaking losses since their last championship, it's good to see the Cougars get their due. Congrats to Coach Lamb and the rest of the 2007 Champs!

it looked the johnnies were looking for their first lax title and 2nd national title of the week(this is d2 b the last win was in mens golf in d3 for the week) but no Montana really showed them and byu is now back on the lax spotlight kinda like Hopkins did in 05 d1, but this is d1a the level that byu rules at and wellit showed today!

CONGRATS & Kudos to the Cougars. A well earned and much deserved national championship. Congrats to Oregon for making it to the big game and giving it everything they had until the final second of the game.

Congrats are certainly in order to the Cougars, who really showed the nation that they were the best team in 2007. Up here in the Northwest we are very proud of the job the Ducks did and the fortitude they showed in getting to the title game.

Huge congratulations also to the Grizzlies, who could have easily had a letdown after that barnburner against Westminster. . .but instead showed their mettle and played at a very high level when it counted the most. The Grizzlies are the first PNCLL team ever to bring home a championship, and we are very proud of the way Montana has handled themselves on and off the field. They are a wonderful group of guys and I couldn't be happier for Kevin Flynn - who's really put this program on his back . . .as a coach, a player, and an ambassodor of the game.

Thanks Kevin for everything you've done. I look forward to seeing you on the sideline for the Grizzlies for many years to come.

Great Tournement, and Congrats to the deserving champions, BYU and Montana.

Kind of interesting how the Polls sort of played themselves out, #1 BYU playing #3 Oregon for the title, and #1 St. Johns playing #3 Montana
(after both Oregon and Montana beating the ranked #2's in very close games ).

Seems to me based on the results the polls were fairly accurate, and the system worked, in spite of questions and concerns about the response rates.

Again, Congrats to the winners!

Unbelievable picture, Cecil! This truly does say 1,000 words...

I want to add my congratulations to Coach Lamb, the rest of the coaching staff and trainers, and the players who worked so hard this year. More than any other Cougar squad I have seen, you guys played like a team. All of us washed-up alumni are proud of what you accomplished this year.

I know that Will's got some images from the title game that he'll post when he gets back home, but I'll go ahead and post a few more from the title game here. I'll have more, too, when I've got the whole event processed .....

My God - we must have better photographers than the NCAA!!

Artists each one were this week - those guys had fun with their "oh he's getting artistic with it huh...." attitudes and we all benefited from it.

Laying on the ground, through any type of weather (Blaine comes to mind as well as this year's winds and cold evenings), all day, eating on the sidelines, one game after another.

And then they spend alot of time editing - I personally saw one photographer in the hotel lobby at 3:00am - editing.

What these guys provide us is just a small percent of what they produce - a lot of good ones get cut out. I suppose the artist doesn't particularly like them.

But anyway - they are trully doing us all a service by dedicating so much time for our memories.

Thanks for immortalizing everything that incompasses the game.
