CSU & Florida
What's all the hoopla with CSU and Fla. about?
If you ever fall off the Sears Tower, just go real limp, because maybe you'll look like a dummy and people will try to catch you because, hey, free dummy.

some stuff was said I guess during the game between the benches. Guess it got a little personal and some feelings got hurt.

I wouldn't normally respond, but since this is obviously something that concerned me directly, I would like to say the following to the Florida team and anyone else who witnessed this event:
I am sorry. Point blank, I lost my cool. I said something that I meant only for one of my own players to hear (basically the quote from a previous forum - and very unsportsmanlike) because he was getting some pointless penalties that were not needed in a game that was already pretty well in hand. Unfortunately, I said it too loud at a time when everyone else went silent and I sounded like a jerk. I take complete responsibility for my lapse in class. I have absolutely nothing against the Gators and I liked their team. If I could contact the coach directly, I would and would say the same thing. It is too bad that my conduct marred what was otherwise a pretty good contest, but I by no means thought it was the story of the game, nor did I think it warranted three paragraphs in the game story, but so be it. Anyone who knows me knows that I am very fiery and competitive and can sometimes go over the line. Generally, this is something I have tried to work on, but we aren't always perfect. So, finally, I again say that I apologize for my actions and take responsibility and I hope that we can all put this behind us.

Always on point . . .
