What would be your ideal lacrosse venue in perfect world?

One of my all-time favorite Lax shirts-
The front has three stick figures with;
See Dick Throw
See Dick Catch
See Dick Bat
The back says;
Don't Be A Dick - Play LACROSSE!!

Here's an addendum to the Kyle Field story. Green Tea-I heard the same about the duct tape and the carpet at Kyle-and the forever banishment of the lax team. But I heard, not sure if it is the same story or another, that in the mid 80's, the Ags used Kyle and used flour to line the feld (paint was not allowed and the tape thing had been thought out and decided against). Anyway-flour and old astroturf apparently don't do well together and bakes real well together-you can see where I am going with this. I got this from someone that actually floured the fields-and you wonder where they get those Aggie jokes from.
As for the field thing-Navy's Rip Miller Field is really cool-with the Severn River right there. Really cool to watch lax and watch the boats at the other end come in and out. Downside-the wind can makes things brutal.

The "Smurf Turf" is sick and wrong. Outside of Boise faithful I have never met anyone who likes it. Personally I believe all fields should be green, whether they are real grass or fake.
I'll throw a vote out for South Field here in Provo. The field isn't that bad and the surrounding Wasatch Mountains are gorgeous.
If you ever fall off the Sears Tower, just go real limp, because maybe you'll look like a dummy and people will try to catch you because, hey, free dummy.

Dan, include me in that small group outside of Boise faithful that like it. It's something different.

All right, dont bust my chops for this, BUT
I heard a rumor that birds die all the time by flying into the smurf turf thinking its water. Could someone please confirm, disprove this rumor.

You know something that would really make me applaud? A guy gets stuck in quicksand, then sinks, then suddenly comes shooting out, riding on water skis! How do they do that?!

Work with someone who use to work at Boise State. I asked him today and he said when they first put it on, pre-football lines on it, some birds did. But sounds like they don't if the football lines are painted on. He also owns a piece of smurf turf on his desk.

I would have to say that playing on the Smurf Turf is one of the coolest experiences I've had playing lacrosse. Awsome field and a great story to tell all my friends back home.

I think Scad has a nice deal in Savannah. It was one of the best places we have ever played. I think in time they will build a quality NCAA program that will be well respected in the South and the Northeast.

Boston University has a great field that the Cannons play on. Nice stadium, easy access to the city, SportTurf, perfect for lacrosse....when there isn't snow on it.

I agree with the south field, it is pretty cool with the mountain backdrop.

The story goes that the team was kicked off of Kyle Field after using duct tape to line the field for games. In that hot Texas weather, the tape melted and almost ruined the astroturf.
This was back in the early 90's, before my time. They weren't too bright back then, obviously.
You put this one up on a tee so I'm gonna hit it out of the park... Please tell me when yall became bright? When they started putting pictures on the menu at DQ?
I rule...
