Can you tell if the teams are taking the consolation games seriously? Based on the scoring summary for UGA so far, they're playing their starters. Can you tell if this is the case with the other teams?

Here is a quote from the game article posted on this site for the Sonoma v. Lindenwood game: "Both teams substituted early and often. Nine different players scored for Sonoma State. Lindenwood's Jimmy Lang (4g) led all scorers.

Game article means nothing.

Although Sonoma played their back-up goalie and substituted regularly, Sonoma played to win. There back-up goalie is very good, is very well qualified at his position, and a great asset to Sonoma lacrosse. The remaining players for Sonoma, although not always at their regular positions, played to win. Myself, as well as all the other Sonoma parents and supporters wanted this win. However, things don't always end as we had hoped.

The Lindenwood Lacrosse Team won, got what they were hoping for, and this victory for them should not be diminished in any way.

Congratulations Lindenwood on your victory.

Of course nobody plays to lose, but the game is approached differently in the consolation round. If they were in the winners bracket, do you really think that they would've played the backup goalie and other players at different positions? Of course not, and that is why the consolation round games really can't be taken into account for purposes of accurately judging a team's relative strength.

I have a tip for you.....Take your binky, walk home, realize that your life no longer has meaning cause the one thing you used to be good at you now can't win at, lock yourself in a dark room, buy an 18 pack in aluminum cans of some "Ice" beer, write down every cliche that you are told is cool to use on these message boards (bro's before hoes...i.e. I can't get a date), reapply to get off of academic probation and get back into the "Harvard' of California state schools, have the "biggest party of the year" at Noma with a pony keg and not one, but two, foosball tables and a mini-marathon of Will & Grace, call your mother and apologize for being her son, and finally, when you say your prayers at night before you pass out, thank our Lord that you are lucky enough to even be able to address me in kind on these message boards.

You know damn well what my deal is...and you know what is really funny to me, the fact that you are trying to deflect the fact that your Squad is out there this year embarrassing us on the field; after embarrassing us for years off of it.
