Go to bed! We have 10 am games tomorrow!

Nothing is better than to mix some surprises with some I told you so's

Hats off to the teams that proved they could and should be in it.

A word about ASU a team that regardless of the next days events has shown some wonderful young talent and some deep coaching ability. I believe they too have provided some real fodder for thought

From this point on all Eight teams will forever be able to say I was in it to win it.

I am really interested to see how the Oregon v. UMD game plays out. The classic good offense vs. good defense matchup. Should be a good one.

6-1 Oregon after one, hopefully UMD can trip up Oregon's offense so they don't run away with this.

Or not. 6-1 after 1... good night UMD.

Dayton came back from a 4-1 deficit after the first quarter to beat St Thomas. 6-1 is not a total blowout.

You've obviously never seen Oregon play. If they can make 7-1 in the first 15 minutes, that's it. Ask CSU.

Then again, some teams match up well against them, but no team has come back from a deficit like that against the Ducks this year. And UMD isn't about to either.

I could maybe see UMD tighting up the D, but I don't know if they have the show and go offense to put up enough to come back.

And at this stage of the tourney, down by 5 is a mountain, no weak teams. But alot of game left, UMD may have been a bit hungover from the Sonoma win.

7-3 at half it's possible but not probable. I'd give it a 10%-20% chance for a UMD win.

Let's go dogs tighten up.

that is progress to hold Oregon to 1 goal and they got 2 back. They will need to unhook the plow on that UMD offense. They have some playmakers that need to create.

Sonoma is a good team, but it's not as if this was an upset. They beat a team they were supposed to beat, right? How exactly would they have a hangover?

Good luck with that. You need the ball to create...

That was the frist win at the national tourney in the first round ever for UMD. Kind of emotional to get that monkey off your back.
Granted the rankings were UMD 6 and Sonoma 11, but I think everyone was speculating on that UMD #6 ranking and felt it could have easily been flip flopped.

Lets not forget Oregon is #3, so them getting out to a 6-1 lead should be a big surprise either. The response by UMD in the 2nd quarter is going the right direction.
